[@Caits] [@t2wave] Makoto let Phoebe get balanced on the board before trying to climb on herself. She placed her feet just behind Phoebe's almost like a shadow and fastened her arms around Phoebe's waist. It was almost like being on a motorcycle but without the seats. "Alright, I-I think i'm on." Makoto said, only stuttering for sake of maintaining her balance. She took on her friend's enthusiasm. Maybe today they could make a difference. Thoughts of Storm and what Estella had said tugged at her mind but she pushed them away. She was feeling capable, but not ready to work through that yet. Maybe tonight... she could think about it some more. Makoto did feel bad for shutting Estella out like that though, it wasn't the kindest thing she could have done even if she was in pain. Unconsciously she heaved a sigh. Phoebe checked one last time to make sure Makoto was alright, agreeing that she was the two women were ready to head out for the day. Phoebe activated the board and they sped off, leaving ruffled papers in their wake.
