Lavender walked up to Nyra and put her hand on the scaly shoulder of the girl turned dragon.

"Hey don't look so gloom," Lavender said trying to comfort Nyra, "At least you look more majestic than the saytr. It will just take some getting used to for all of us."

He was still living at home and she planned on moving out the following year so maybe this would be practice for being away from the comfort at home.
