Okay, this is just me thinking out loud, but what if the NPC Kat is going for does run, and she has to call her backup (the rookies) and since rookies don't know shit and probably pissed themselves realizing what kind of bar they are in, accidentally end up (somehow) shooting the power out (making the place black) and end up tazing either just Deon (unless she would continue to fight him even then, which Deon would if it were reversed) or both of our characters in the confusion rendering them both pretty useless or something happens to have Liz lose consciousness while Deon is being tazed?

That way, if she's unconscious after everything is all said and done with, Deon can't technically do anything and the fight is over but there is no definite winner because of circumstance (though he'll still call it a victory cuz he's an arrogant douche like that).
