"Everyone except Psyker Valenthin will go with him to a safe house." "That's usually not a good sign!" Adrianne, although ever so slightly alarmed, remained quiet as the rest of the group departed from the gallery. Being singled out for whatever reasons, whether it be quarantine or general grilling, was something she was quite used to. After all, she was the psyker; which made her special, but not always for the better. As the excitement from the battle ebbed away, she could feel the exhaustion hit her like an anvil out of nowhere! It felt as if she had been stomped flat by a particularly angry warboss, as her muscles ached in every part of her body! When the Inquisitor finally returned to her, alone as they now were in the hallway, the inquisitor would look at the large, gaping hole in the building before making a comment. "I said a small one." "There is no such thing as a 'small' vortex. When you tear the very fabric of reality apart, you never know what you are going to get." Adrianne commented as she gazed back at Zhevon from behind her skeletal mask. Moving her hands up to her helmet, she'd depressurize it and remove it, instead holding it under her right arm and letting her snow-white hair flow down her neck as she looked back at Zhevon with her deep, purple eyes. Whatever warp glow that may have haunted them previously had by now burnt out and was long gone. Although her helmet and armor may have been covered in dust and grime, the psyker's face remained pristine and clean, shielded as it had been beneath her gear. She would stare at Zhevon for a moment with an unmoving gaze, before Adrianne would conjure up a small smile on her lips as she looked at the Inquisitor. "Speak your mind, Inquisitor. I will listen to you." Her gaze was only interrupted by a small series of beeps suddenly emanating from further back at the end of the hallway, as her servo-skull, M4R1-A appeared around the corner to hover into the ruined corridor where they stood! M4R1-A would pass them by, spinning around to scan them, before continuing out into the lobby area. As the servo skull passed out of sight yet again, Adrianne would shrug, before returning her gaze towards Zhevon.
