[@Monochromatic Rainbow] With guns you mist think in the trend of Dishonored. They do exist, but only work with Whale Oil. (and as you can imagine, whale oil can only be obtained through scavenging and is rather valuable). And of course hitting stuff with a wrench is allowed. Hell, you could even hit stuff with a wooden stick. As long as it packs some punch :P And mechanical skills are always useful in a world ruled by scavenging.
