Pearl Cloud Candy looked out the window at the sky, which had just turned grey. "Look at that," she exclaimed excitedly to her puppy, "the sky is all gloomy! That means more people will stay inside, which means more people for me to meet!!!" Snuggles just cocked his head at her. Cloud laughed out loud and swung him in a circle around her head. "Let's go for a walk!" She peeked out the door of her dorm room with a huge smile on her face. Which way would she go? This was so exciting! Taking a walk down the hallways was going to be such an adventure! Visions of meeting new, exciting, mysterious, interesting people filled her mind and clouded her vision with a cotton candy overlay.

She came to her senses after a few moments and realized she was still standing in her room, with just her head poking out into the doorway. "Which way, Mr. Snuggles?" she whispered to her puppy. He was facing left, so she strode out confidently in that direction. She waved at everyone she passed by, a huge grin never leaving her face. Waving was kind of hard because she was hugging her puppy with both of her arms, but she didn't mind!

She caught sight of a poster she hadn't seen before on the wall, and ran up to it. "Oooooh," she trilled, "an election!!!!" How exciting! Who did she know who might make President? "Well, I don't know very many people," she muttered to herself. "I just got here." An idea came to her, and her face brightened. "I know! I need to make friends with everyone as quickly as possible, so that whoever is President will be my friend!!!!!" She stood in front of the pretty poster, grasping her puppy, imagining how nice it would be to be friends with everyone in the whole entire school.
