Even if it were still our USSR:

How dare you bring logic into this mystical land. Besides the Germans are in the midst of The Siege of Leningrad and there probably wont be a response.

Give me a minute to fix the post.

EDIT: Before you say it, yes Svalbard was mostly evacuated because of Operation Gauntlet, however some of the facilities (minus the mines) are still intact and there is a Norwegian garrison at Spitsbergen.

@Voltus_Ventus You're accepted. Note that you're Navy's over-specialized, though. It's kind-of like the RP equivalent of min-maxing; while you'll be really great at submarine warfare, you've got weaknesses in other areas, like your air force and surface ships (landing and support craft come to mind especially). However, that's not an OOC issue, that's one that will end up being worked out IC.

I expect, in other words, that someone will at some point complain about how completely imbalanced your Navy is, and I'd like to point out to that future person that said imbalance can be leveraged against said Navy.

Anyway, yay! Posts! Things are progressing and that makes me happy! Cupcakes for everyone!

Nah, it's sorta like my post.

He speaks a lot of the enemies from his timeline, since the troops haven't realized the shift yet, so naturally they think the border is as it was.

Hence why i speak of the "Commonwealth alliance" which i imagine are made up from mainly brits, an america where the confederacy won and texas along with their south european allies.
All while i sail towards southern africa, thinking its ruled by some backwater tribal government with no chance of resisting a battleship. While it is actually the republic of south africa i'm headed for.
Whom probably have a bit more juice behind them.

All in all, everyone will be rather confused :P Especially our "characters".

Should be some in Egypt/Libya, and the Sudan. But some of those may have to be shipped off south to hold of the South Africans.

Expect my second post tomorrow BST, once I've read over all the new posts.
