Sheena looked down at the village as she came out of the mountain trail. She was relieved knowing that this meant she had the opportunity to eat a proper meal. It had been a full day since she had eaten anything. Cautiously she walked into the village. There had been a boy who started following her while she was still in the mountains and he continued to even was she entered the village. Sheena wondered what he wanted but didn't feel threatened by him. Once finding a tea house she went in and quietly took a seat in the corner.

Hikaru had noticed a strange woman approaching the village while he was out on his morning patrol. There was something very different about her and it made him uncomfortable. She carried a sword for one thing. But Hikaru could sense she was powerful. He tried to follow her without being detected but he didn't know how greatly her skills surpassed his own.

Satoshi kicks one of the men down and break's the other's arm. He was faster then a ninja with his moves. Leaving the two look like they just tripped for no reason.
Satoshi walks away thinking "Maybe I should've went for a nicer approach.." he would mutter.

Changing her position from kneeling to cross-legged (Daichi had discreetly motioned that the former pose was too feminine), Amaya propped her arm up onto the table and proceeded to rest her cheek atop her fist. "Hurry up already! You've been sipping at the same cup for 15 minutes now!" she whined to her brother. The addressed rōnin merely ignored her, his focus tuned in on the woman who'd just entered. As quickly as he'd first noticed her when she stepped in, he promptly deemed her harmless to both himself and his sister. He returned his gaze to Amaya and simply smirked. She tried so hard to be a 'man' and yet here she sat before him, behaving exactly like the bratty little sister he knew her to be. "You know just as well as I that I enjoy it cool" he said simply.

Sheena ordered some tea and chicken ramen from the young girl who came to the table to take her order. Casually she leaned her sword on the table she sat at. Her eyes periodically scanned the room. She noticed two people sitting over at a table on the other side of the room, they didn't seem to be from here either. There were several odd characteristics she noticed about both of them. While they didn't pose a out right threat Sheena decided to keep an eye on them.

Hikaru went into the tea house and tried to look natural as he took a seat. He saw two men who he didn't recognize. They must have came to the village while he was stalking the woman. Quietly he grumbled to himself about not being able to keep up with everything. Newcomers made him uncomfortable yet he was also intrigued by them. The thought of one of them possibly teaching him how to fight excited him but he tried to keep his enthusiasm under-wraps.

Whether it was purely intuition or there was something off about the slight movement at the corner of his eye, the elder sibling for reasons unbeknownst to even himself sent a fleeting glance towards the tea house's newest guest. Daichi tensed beneath the loose folds of his clothing but quickly stopped to keep from blowing there cover. Just another swordsman, right? So what? But as much as he tried to ignore it there was something about the woman that bothered him, causing his conscience to nag at the back of his mind. Returning his gaze to Amaya, he knew she was aware of the sword just meters away but she probably thought nothing of it. Daichi chose to act casually so as to keep from alerting anyone. "So have you decided on our next destination yet?" he asked calmly, his tone almost bored. Amaya raised a brow before answering. "No, not really. We just keep searching as usual".

."Kimura you did it again. he thought himself as he staggered from the bar and bumped into a waitress. "shorry one to many shakes." in truth
It was a few more than one to many.
As he backed away from the waitress he caught his foot on something and turned just in time to land face first in the bosom of a shapely black haired woman and being as drunk as he was it took him a moment to realize he should get off her instead of enjoying having his head buried in her breasts.

Hikaru sighed when Kimura stumbled around. He knew he had a tendency to be drunk even this early in the morning. The thought of him stiring up trouble with the new comers entered Hikaru's mind. *please don't * he thought to himself.

Sheena had noticed the man stumbling around but thought nothing of it. Just a harmless drunk, every town had one. By this point the waitress had brought her tea and food out so Sheena was much more interested in that. After all she hadn't had a proper meal in weeks now. As the drunk stumbled she tried to react by catching him but unfortunately only aided in his decent into her chest. With hardly anytime waisted she felt a surg of anger pierce through her body. With her right hand she grabbed her sword and without removing it from the sheeth struck it across the man and sent him flying into a wall.

The so-called brothers stared at the drunkard, their faces that of unamused onlookers at a street performance. Amaya was the first to move from her gawking state and balled up her fists. "Don't" Daichi warned, his voice low but hit tone commanding. They'd only just arrived in the village and who knew what kind of people resided here; mess with the wrong person and the siblings could find themselves biting off more than they can chew. "Being nothing more than a bystander gets you nowhere in life" Amaya argued persistently. Just as she'd risen, the woman whom the man had fallen upon was sent flying back. Both Amaya and Daichi were on there feet moments later, each instinctively with a hand on the weapons at their sides.

"That hurt!" Kimura yeld as he tried to figure out which way was up and succeeded only by finding the floor with his face in his attempt to stand up. "look I know I fell on you and stuff but that was kinda rude ya know? I mean it was a accident and if you would have let me I was gonna apologize! Geez the nerve of some..." Kimura trailed off into mumbled grumbling as he walked out and was nearly run over by a large man in armor.

Brain barely noticed the drunk, he was far more interested in getting a drink. His last job had gone well and he had money to burn. "barkeep sake and a double order of ramen with rost pork please!" he said then sat down at an empty table facing the door.

Sheena leaned her sword against the table once more and sat back down. She gestured to the young and obviously scared waitress for her tocome over. Reluctantly the young girl did so. Sheena pulled out all that was left of her money.
This should be enough to cover the meal and any damages rendered to the establishment.
she said politely and handed the girl the money.

Hikaru felt fear all through his body. He had to do something.

After a moment of hesitation, Amaya sat back down while trying to act as casually as possible, but Daichi remained standing. Approaching Hikaru from behind he laid a hand on the boy's shoulder and gave a 'friendly' squeeze.
"Now now, that's no way to treat a lady who's simply defending herself"
he smirked. "Always gotta be the lady's man" Amaya mentally groaned to herself.

Hikaru's heart stared beating practically out of his chest. New and strange people were surrounding him. "What have I gotten myself in? What am I going to do? " he frantically thought.
" Don't touch me!"
he said spinning around to Daichi.

Quietly Sheena sat and ate. It appeared she was ignoring what played out around her but that was far from the case.
"I'll gladly leave after I've finished my meal. Until then however I advice you to leave me be. I doubt you want to bother any of these men either. "
she said in a simple way.

Daichi withdrew his hand and crossed his arms, smirking as he tried hard not to laugh at the young boy's rather dramatic and painfully obvious reaction. He was quick, yes, but as the older Hotaru brother further analyzed the boy he started noticing minor yet important flaws. The most dangerous of them: he was practically begging to start a fight he'd likely be unable to finish. Daichi raised a brow and tilted his head, wondering what he'd do next. Amaya, though keeping her composure, watched tensely from her seat.

this kid is really wound up, he's going to hurt someone if this goes on much longer. he thought to himself as he quickly sized him up, he was plenty fast for sure and by the way he moved he had potentially, if he didn't get himself killed first, but he needed training.
"hay boy! Quite down and quit waving that thing around before I decide to give you a lesson in how a sword works."
Brian said as condescendingly as possible trying to draw his attention and ire away from anybody else. The kid was so worked up he probably didn't even notice that Brian was in full armor under the heavy cloak he was wearing so he was in no real danger and probably wouldn't have to hurt the kid to keep anyone else from getting hurt.

Hikaru felt the sweat beading up on his brow. His eyes darted between all those who occupied the room, dwelling most on the men who threatened him. Inadvertently Hikaru had worked himself into a corner, stuck between a rock and a hard place so to speak.
"I'll put my sword away if you take your seat and don't cause any trouble."
he said as he attempted to keep his voice from trembling. The warm air of the tea house felt like a hand gripped over his throat. All eyes were on him, and he didn't know what would happen next.

Sheena finished her meal. Quietly she poured herself another cup of tea and raised it to her rose colored lips. Slowly enjoying her beverage she listened to the conversation of the men. Without directly looking at the scene she kept an account by watching from her peripheral.

The elder Hotaru brother surely would have been amused if given the chance to stand around for just a while longer to see what would happen next. However, from the corner of his eye, he noticed Amaya leaving their payment on the wooden table before heading for the door. Time to go. "Kid, just remember this: even the wolf knows to flee from the herd when outdone." Whether or not the young man (Hikaru) took his advice was his choice but Daichi hoped that for his own sake, he'd listen. The samurai then proceeded to follow his sister out the front entrance.

"good choice boy!" he said as he turned and sat down at the table he had picked out. The more he thought about it the less he was interested in the kid and the more he wanted to eat. Anyway two of the people who seemed to be making him jumpy had left so maybe he'd calm down now.

Hikaru stood there like a fool for a moment or two. The words echoing in his mind. There was so much simple truth in what the man had said to him. Suddenly Hikaru moved quickly from his frozen position. He ran across the village to the small house he lived in. Sliding the door wide open he darted inside without even removing his shoes. Pulling a small pack out he started stuffing supplies in it. Clothes, food, knives, and such. As soon as he finished he rushed back out, sliding the door shut behind him. Breathing heavily, heart racing, he rushed down the dirt roads looking for the two men who had left the tea house.

Quietly Sheena sipped her tea. The only one left who might cause trouble was the big guy in the armor. She caught herself wondering why he wore such heavy armor. She reminded herself that many must wonder why she, a regular looking woman, carries a sword. "We're all hiding something, we all have monsters in our past." She thought.
