To be fair, they were mad at him for more than just stealing xD (trying to steal a healing robot for a dying friend, using the bed where said injured person as a work bench, falling on the said injured person, punching her arm etc) though some of those he didn't know she was fragile, but some of them were a bit common sense.

And the characters don't know him at all so they don't have any idea what he's done other than he's capable of stealing xD
