Maybe, I was thinking of going into the base root of Kitsune lore, that being spiritual enlightenment. The more enlightened you are, the greater degree of control over chi you have (I.E your bodies electric potential) which thus means you have more tails. More tails of course means more power. Nine tails of course being the height of enlightenment. That's my plan anyway, just need to find the time to get working on them. :P Not sure what direction your going to go, but interaction between my Kitsune's and yours would be interesting. (though I was going to make them an all female race. XD) Oh, on larger topics, at the moment the Multiverse has really one established power. The Angar Rylla of course being one of them. The Dreamers themselves are likely to be major players in some way for story purposes, but so far I don't believe they'd make for a good faction to have for the ARENA. Which leaves us for at least two other larger powers (the idea being Ao does not want them going to war with each other on a large scale else there would be nothing left), so do people have any idea for interesting themes? I'm trying to avoid obvious evil factions or goody toe shoes ones, as those seem a tad bit unrealistic and hard to relate to. Joining any of these will of course be optional, but will make for nice spice for PC v PC story lines as for reasons to have conflicts. (Heck the whole Overgod thing will even explain away permanent death.)
Haha. Yes, to Hadyn, the tails are an account of enlightenment and of power. However, it also represents his Fox spirit's grip on the physical realm. The two are separate in many ways, but also the same in many ways. My Lore will also Involve 'The Lady'. Possibly deriving from Indian Origins, from what I've read. According to it, she's the mother of all Kitsune. She has 10 tails in some writings, and in other ones she has a thousand. Of course, I don't plan on dismissing Inari in any way. BTW. That Sandman character I'm working on. The way he looks and acts, is very similar to The Dreamers, but his story and abilities are definitely much different. Matter of fact, it would probably even make him an enemy of them. I just figured I'd point that out.
