Reason for Accepting King Jaren's Call/Backstory: 
Orville is the son of a neighboring king, their two fathers used to be great friends and allies, but Orville's father was orverthrown and was sent into hiding, Orville  since then has become a very talented priest of sorts, dispelling and exorcising demons is his usual weekly plan. So it was really just a normal house call that Orville accepted.

Military Background: 
Orville, being the prince of a fallen kingdom was trained in traditional swordfighting styles, but he has since abandoned his old teachings and instead has embraced the call of spiritual research and disposal/support. Regarded as a 'Spirit monk' of sorts.

Special Skills:
Orville is able to commune with,summon and manipulate spirits and spiritual energy.
Doing things like Banishing, summoning,purifying corrupted spirits and he is also able to make that energy tangible with spiritual magic, able to create extra limbs,weapons and servants.that coupled with his wealth of knowledge of the other side makes him a great asset to anyone journying out to meet,destroy or commune with spirits. 

Equipment: Being much like a nomad Orville carries little, only what he needs in a small pack, those contents include:
Water,Food,assorted prayer beads,Talismans and sutras, change of clothes and a lantern.

Weapons:
His own style of  hand-tohand combat that utilizes spiritual energy.
