When Leagsaidh was invited to speak with Touka-chan alone, she was more than happy to accompany her. Maybe she would finally get some answers as to why she was acting weird?

It was nice out here. Quiet, calm, shaded. Exactly the kind of place one would share a secret that they didn't want anyone else to know. Leagsaidh sat under the tree and let Touka speak in her own time.

Wait. What? No, that wasn't right! She could see Touka wasn't looking her in the eyes - the general act of a shy girl telling an embarrassing secret or something more personal to Leagsaidh?

Touka must have thought that Leagsaidh would take it badly and she quickly darted off, tearfully apologising. Not being one to remain starstruck, Leagsaidh ran after her.

[color=#a2a8ff]"Touka-chan, wait!"[/color]

No response. Leagsaidh tailed the distraught girl into the forest out the back of the school, into a clearing with some kind of pavilion on it. Touka sank, cuddling her knees with tears flowing like a waterfall.
A more logical person would have kept their distance. They would have said "She'll talk in her own time" and observed quietly from afar. Leagsaidh O'Donnell was not that kind of person. Instead, she ran on to the pavilion and more or less scooped Touka into her arms for a hug, ignoring the tears that were now soaking through her sun-skirt.

For a few seconds all was quiet. When Touka had calmed down a little bit, Leagsaidh decided to press the most important matter.

[color=#a2a8ff]"The first thing I want you to know is - I think you were really brave for telling me. And I'm really flattered that you... erm, feel that way about me. And I don't think less of you for it, either. If anything, I only admire you more."[/color]

I mean, I've never really been into guys, but I never really thought I'd end up with a girl either. And believe me, I'm just as scared and as... what's the word? Unsure? As you are. I just want to make sure I get this right."[/color]

We can put this behind us, or talk about it more or whatever you feel comfortable with. I won't be upset if you want to withdraw that statement. I want you to be as comfortable, and as honest with yourself, as possible"[/color]

If you mean love as in wanting someone to be happy, safe, comfortable and all round have the best possible life they can have, I guess I love everyone. But if you mean that I feel happy, safe and comfortable because of someone - a feeling of affection, I guess -"[/color] Now it was Leagsaidh's turn to blush [color=#a2a8ff]"Then I guess I love you too, Touka-chan. I can't deny feeling some kind of... attraction to you. So if you really [i]are[/i] asking me out, I guess I could... I mean, we could be... You know. The G word."[/color]
