"Hiya, big guy!" Sounded a cheery voice from behind. His inspection interrupted, Morrian turned about to face the beaming creature.

"Who are you?" The crocodile's eyes naturally drifted to the blade on the cat creature's side. He was armed. The little cat was unlike anything he had yet seen. He'd seen the cat-kin but this thing more closely resembled a human. Morrian's orange eyes pierced at him with suspicion. "Where'd you come from? Were you sent here by Ulakah?" The cat certainly didn't seem threatening but Morrian didn't live this long on trust. Anything could be a threat.

Despite trying to prove intimidating it was just too damned cold! Morrian crossed his arms over his bare chest to reserve some semblance of heat. Behind the cat two others had literally arrived from nowhere. A feat that was apparently common here. Regardless, he needed to get inside that building. Now! Talk would have to wait.

The bridge had thus far been holding possibly hundreds of pounds or more of snow for who knew how long. Dangling such a distance it would need to be strong. More stared at it hesitantly. Mustering courage he moved onto the swaying planks and started forward.
