Brielle nodded and called after him as he walked away, "Goodnight!" She shook her head slightly. She was beginning to realize that West was not one to partake in idle chit chat or social formalities. She found it odd and yet endearing. She had never met anyone like him. Perhaps because people like him would be too shy to talk to a busy overachiever like her. She pondered these things as she walked down the hall. She purchased a room locking the door behind her. She laid on the bed staring up at the ceiling, her staff laying on the mattress beside her. She couldn't help but think about her younger sisters. They were only three and five years old. Her mother had remarried when she was thirteen years old. She had to get used to her stepfather but those girls... They were two of the best things that ever happened to her. Every night she would read bedtime stories to them. Laying in this small room she missed them. She shook her head and exhaled slowly. She couldn't think about them. If she was going to have the best chance of seeing them again she couldn't afford to worry about them. She had to focus on the here and now. She had to focus on the plan she and West had. She trusted him and she believed that together they could do this. She slowly closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
