Mashuka almost drew the kukri on instinct when he heard the shattering blow of the girl's kendo, regardless of how late the reaction would have been. Still, self-control won out in the end and he whirled around wide-eyed and empty-handed. The wooden blade had cleaved into and ultimately destroyed one of the doors, and still remained in tact. He just stared for a moment, first to the debris, then to her, mouth a tad agape. "What the hell are you made of?" He barely had time to get the words in before Donna attacked again. And again. And again. This girl had wild energy and insane strength, perhaps standing toe-to-toe to her was a bad idea. He needed time to think of something, an advantage of some kind or at the very least a decent escape, not that either were particularly likely. And so he ran, and she seemed content to follow, swinging madly with that terrifying grin on her face. If these were the sort of people in charge of dorm introductions, Mashuka didn't even want to think about what the teachers would be like. If Donna had her way however, he might not get to find out anyway. With a swipe clipping his shirt, he had to maneuver a bit more while running. This he was good at, mobility, stamina, he had those, the only question was if Donna burned fuel quicker than he did. Another shattering sound, from the kendo and he nearly yelped in surprise. "You-" he ducked. "Are- he dodged. "Bloody-" all at once Mashuka spun around, grabbed hold of one of the doors, and threw it open at Donna's face, making a barrier, albeit a surely temporary one, between them. "Nuts!" Mashuka prepared for the door to be eviscerated, and the moment she tore it to pieces he'd attempt to strike the kendo stick from her hand. Bold? Sure. Wise? Eh. Did he have many other options? Not really.
