For the next day I think King Volarian (Alarieth) should hold a feast to celebrate Jaime's (Violentviolet) recent battle. It will give an opportunity for everyone to be at the same spot to include the King's family, Kingsguard, and the royal chef. 

Imagine the shenanigans and possibilites that could happen. You will have prince quay angry that he can't leave. Jaime is celebrating his victory. Rouen having to converse with the king despite hating him. 

Maybe the royal chef's friend mysteriously goes missing and he overhears that there is slime pudding for dessert. Cue a duel between the royal chef and the Kingsguard, in the feast room.
