Amelia followed Vivian as they walked towards the school, holding her adoptive mother's hand for comfort. Like usual, several people couldn't help but stare at Amelia's wings, which she kept folded behind her back, and Amelia would feel their eyes follow her until she was no longer in the field of view. Ever conscious of this, Amelia just looked at the ground, only glancing up when Vivian brought up a cloud that looked interesting. Despite how she felt, Vivian's efforts did manage to coax out a small smile from Amelia. When they finally reached the classroom Amelia suddenly stopped, still holding onto Vivian's hand. She had been thinking about how her classmates would react to her presence. She could guess, probably accurately but worse then how it might really happen, and she was beginning to get rather nervous as a result. "Mama... what if they stare at me like everyone else?" She asked."What if they don't like me or make fun of me? What should I do?"
