After the reactions both Nyra and Lavender gave when he played his music, He perked up from what Lavender told him. With his chest out "I guess that could be useful....effecting people's emotions...." when looking at Nyra claiming she couldn't fly, he was wondering why not? she have wings...so it was possible.
