Yes her father taught her to fight too, but her destiny has never been for the battle field. And so he gives more weight to the damage of words than arms, telling very little of her past lest those words return to her poised at her throat. But despite this Kat does not look as if she wears a war; she laughs easily and dances often. She revels in her femininity and in her magic, but don't mistake her for some gentle ethereal creature. She can be sarcastic, amorous and at times cruel but providing you do not provoke her you should be able to escape an encounter with her mostly unscathed.

To some she is bold: making you mess up your words, free in a way that leaves you breathless.
