Subject 133
"Watch out? I suppose this situation is as grim as I had suspected." Alex responded quickly, confirming his suspicion that their purpose here was not very innocent. It clearly had something to do with their powers, seeing as the scientists would be scared if possessing them was a normal trait; in fact Alex expected that the powers had been imbued into them somehow. He was finding less and less to like about this whole existence, beyond the actual fact of being created so that he could dislike the situation in the first place. Doc was moving on now, leading them out of the room. "Girls? Oh, another gender. It's interesting that they'd keep us apart from them, as if there was much that could happen before we were 'born'." Alex considered his statement, deciding that he would have to re-examine anything that came to mind to weigh its validity. At the moment all he had were thoughts and an education implanted into him which could easily smack of brain-washing. He dismissed this as paranoid though; if one could actively question and evaluate whether they had been brainwashed then it either had not happened or was a terrible attempt at it. Doc started to speak to one of the girls, clearly familiar with her, while the others wore similar expressions Alex and the boys had on their faces; confusion, fear and interest. Both genders were quite visually striking, he noticed, more varied than the scientists from before. Must come with being artificial, I suppose. Assuming that we are entirely artificial. The large woman and an irritated smaller woman were like a double act, the large one bigger than Alex himself and apparently imbued with very strict ideas on gender, judging by her comments on them. "I think that if we are surprised by every situation that doesn't fit with the information they put in our heads then we'll be here all day." What's a day? Ah, 24 hours; hours made up of 60 minutes and these in turn made up of 60 seconds. Time measurement. Looks like they put some useful things in here as well. Spreading his hands in a peaceful gesture, Alex nodded towards Doc and the girl they had yet to be introduced to since the two were clearly more knowledgeable than they were. "I suggest we follow our guides here and learn more of our situation and sort out our own minds. I suspect that this mental disarray we all have could develop into something worse if we don't get our bearings properly."
