Gender | Min Height | Max Height | Min Weight Female | 5' | 6' | 120 lb Male | 5' | 6' | 120 lb Homunculi were created several centuries before the disappearance of magic, in the coastal city-state of Skeeron, originally to be laborers and servants. They were not slaves, but were treated poorly, paid lower wages than their counterparts of other races, abused. They formed clans based on the skill sets that their kind had, and were built for; larger Homunculi formed the Dredge Clan, those with dextrous hands suitable for crafting formed the Adept Clan. The smaller ones, nimble, agile, sneaky formed the Guile Clan. Those that appeared closest to human (the dominant race of Skeeron at the time) formed the Steward Clan, as personal servants. Eventually, the Clans gained enough members to rise up and overthrow their masters after years of abuse. But they did not strike them down, but demanded to be treated as equals. It was difficult for many years, but eventually they found a coexistence that worked. Several lesser Clans formed, but the main four remained dominant. The fall of Magic stole Homunculi's ability to regenerate more quickly than other races, as well as other magical abilities. Many modern Homunculi believe Skeeron still holds strong, far to the west of Ebonfort, but no one has managed to return from journeying that far to confirm. Homunculi still maintain their clan bonds, though a bit more loosely than in days past. [/hider]
