Katzheer are an enigmatic race. They suddenly appeared about two centuries prior to the Departure of Magic, arriving on ships in every port city and immediately began assimilating into the cultures. They never spoke about where they came from, always giving outrageous lies that they expected no one to believe. 

The Katzheer have always, and seemingly will always, never truly respect authority figures. They are often found playing both sides of the law as it seems to suit them. This can be thieves, assassins, scouts, rangers, anything of the sort. They don't often have patience for crafts or art based professions.
