Yes but you framed the question any attack. Normally all attacks take a round yes, but since we have people who are new to the arena and never been in a tourney, actually explaining it so there is no misunderstanding with ranged weapons saves me time in a judgement.

Unless you dislodge the grappler or defend against it they can simply continue their attack since there was no action regarding it.
