It wouldn't be unheard of for a new magic to be beyond her ability. Especially early on. So what Tidius suggested sounded plausible. "[color=lightblue]I guess that makes sense. But she's...[/color]" She points to the newly formed spirit before being interrupted. 

The spirit looked at Ariel and spoke. "[color=violet]Ariel, is that you? You've grown up.[/color]" After a moment she seemed to realize something herself. "[color=violet]Hm, looks like I have as well.[/color]" Glancing at Tidius she paused. Seemed he could see her and she waved a hand a bit to see if his eyes would follow and they did. "[color=violet]Can he... can he see me?[/color]"
