Breaking her out of her trance, Rui greeted her and asked about her thoughts of the upcoming tournaments this summer. [color=9e0b0f][b]"What do I think? Hmm,"[/b][/color] pausing, she briefly remembered her days in middle school and how she never gotten the chance to be in a tournament let alone a team. [color=9e0b0f][b]"Honestly, I'm quite excited. I was never able to try out for my middle schools kendo team let alone compete in a tournament, so the upcoming ones will be a first for me. It may be my first time but I plan to make up for lost time and win. Not going to let Midterms get in the way of that!"[/b][/color] Akane began grinning ear-to-ear. She knew she was going to do fine on the exams, after all.
