He is a physical powerhouse with muscle and bones twice as dense as a normal humans, his strength is four times what an Olympic power-lifter is capable of not unlike a gorilla. (current world record unassisted bench press is 650 lbs. Max can bench 2500 unassisted. He wears a power suit capable of amplifying his strength through both servo motors and arcane glyphs. (DM's discression as to how much stronger it makes him to start and give him something to reach for later.)

He is the living tank of the group, carrying the heavy weapons to bear be it shoulder mounted cannon or underslung mini-gun, he is trained in heavy weapons and artillery. In melee he is often seen using industrial tools like cutting wheels and chainsaws to tear through the enemy like wood and stone.

Sonic Induction Reverberation Excavator, Non-lethal (SIREN) 
The shoulder mounted cannon shown above is a former military device made for sapping enemy strongholds and moving through underground areas. The weapon itself reverberates on the Mohs scale settings, pulverizing elements on a molecular harmonic level and reducing them to very expensive sands. The downside is its limit to 10 feet maximum range and the fact that each attack must be recalibrated for each new elemental target. On mechanical targets, it tends to break them down or else remove key components, In one unfortunate incident, when used on someone with a skeleton while set to calcium, it caused rapid onset osteoporosis and left them with a bone structure similar to cartilage.

This device was made based off of seismic detonation imaging technology. Originally one would fire the depleted uranium round into solid rock then detonate the charge to create a resonant image in order to scout bedrock for prizes or worries (Jurassic park 1 where they find the raptor in the bedrock) When used in combat, you are now facing an armor piercing remote detonated grenade. HOWEVER, due to an unfortunate incident involving a broadband radio-jamming device, each shot can only be primed after it is fired and the gun has an auto-lock feature to not fire the next round until the previous round has detonated.

A personal defense device, this folding spade can be kept folded over and grasped as a buckler, folded once on either end for a horizontal hand axe or piercing weapon. lastly the baton-like handle can extent to a 3 foot handle for two-handed grips.

Their lifetimes are only counted by their time after their 'enlightenment' where another species (DM CHOICE) arrived and shared with them the marvels of math, art, and science. Before this, these minotaurs were simple aboriginal society on their isolated but mineral rich island. The enlightened taught the minotaurs all about earth sciences and little else. (A is for agate, B is for bedrock...) In a single century, the minotaurs were strip-mining their own island for all its natural resources until there was nothing left. Now needing a new life goal, they were introduced into military service as powerhouse shocktroops. 

This era of arms lasted another hundred years until certain conventions came into place that prevented such slavery. Now the minotaurs face a new generation of freedom without guidance. Maximilian's mother and father met in the mines and fell in uncomfortable, ugly, love. Mocked for his size by minotaurs or his appearance by dwarves, he spent his formative years in the gym pumping iron to deal with his frustrations, tracking his way to the junior olympics. From there it was a short hop to the actual Olympics where he placed bronze at 9(18). After that, he was given a scholarship into the army sapper units "Groundhogs".  

His tour ended and now he's a merc looking for work.

A lifetime of subjugation has left them as a second class citizen in their herd mentality. As such they are nine out of ten times weak to mental domination.
