The rain was heavy enough to block Takumi from his people watching and he returned his gaze to his cup. Steam came fluttering out of the white mug and he gently picked it up with his large hands, taking a large sip before setting it back down. The cup was now almost empty and not a single ounce of steam left the mug. Despite being almost empty, the mug was still warm and he kept both hands on it, his palms heating up. He peacefully listened to the rain patter against the window and tried to make out the running figures outside, but all he could see were watery blobs trying to find shelter from the cold. The cafe was still dead silent, even with the rain. Takumi hated how quiet it was; he wished that it would stop raining so that he could somewhat hear the chatter coming from outside. The silence didn't last for very long, as the bell attached to the door chimed and an employee that sat on one of the tables sprang up to her feet. Takumi's amber eyes slowly crept towards the door and he was surprised to see a fairly attractive woman standing there. He could smell her disgustingly damp clothes from his spot in the corner, but that didn't make her any less pretty. The man was excited to see a human enter the usually dead cafe, especially a woman of her stature. Takumi wasn't exactly a "ladies man" or someone who tended to flirt with other women, but he did admire them for what they were. Besides, how could he be with a human woman when he was a wolf? It just didn't work. Takumi was caught by surprise when the woman sat near him and he immediately scrolled his eyes back towards his mug. Bending his head down, he dug himself in the mug and devoured the rest of the cheap black tea. Once the liquid was gone, the werewolf took a couple of sugar packets and ripped off the tops, pouring the sugar into his empty mug to make it seem like he was too busy for the woman. Before he could finish dumping the rest of the sugar, the woman was on the move from her table to his. The minute she plopped down with her caramel infested drink, Takumi froze. Having a human woman this close to him made him extremely uncomfortable and he kept his head inside his mug that was nearly half full of sugar. When the woman spoke, the man lifted his head up from the mug and stared at her with emotionless amber eyes. Kyomi. A beautiful name for a beautiful woman. He clutched onto the handle of his mug and moved his eyes away from hers, "Takumi." he murmured.
