[center][h2]Ward 7, 0230 in the morning[/h2][/center]

   There he was, crouched like a gargoyle on the side of a nearby building. If one glanced up they would mistake him as such. Such a quiet neighborhood. Though within the city, it still contained large office buildings and row homes. A few cars here and there but not much activity and yet, there he was, surveying the area in search of a meal. [i][color=ed1c24]'Been about a week since I last ate. Might as well get something now before I move on.[/color][/i] The wind broke over his [url=http://www.collegeenvy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/CE_07-22-201309.jpg] mask[/url] and his hood. He wore a long black trench coat that laid over his shoulders, its sleeves and tail flapped into the wind. He adorned a somewhat mesh looking shirt underneath of the trench coat but wore nothing else. He also wore a pair of combat pants that were wrapped up at the bottom to give it a military feel. His black combat pants were sort of baggy on him but more or less loose enough for free movement. To complement the pants was a pair of combat boots. 

As he search he heard a blood curdling scream followed by a few other shouts and laughs as his attention quickly honed in on a terrified [url=http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/5b/b9/cd/5bb9cd8582ceedf2d104253cbe80ec9a.jpg]lady[/url] who was bleeding on the shoulder followed up by 3 ghouls of low caliber, definitely low caliber. His eyes gazed in on her with pity as she passed underneath a streetlight. She looked beautiful. About in her mid twenties with nice flowing brunette hair. As he looked closer his eyes soon turned from pity to anger as he quickly took notice to her stomach. [i] [color=ed1c24]'Such a shame real- Wait...She's pregnant.'[/color][/i] Mitsurugi had a few rules that he followed and made other ghouls follow, especially when he was in the area. One of those being that a ghoul will never kill a pregnant women. [i] [color=ed1c24]'Time to move I guess' [/color][/i] he thought as he stood up and hopped down from the building. It was a fairly high jump, about 5 stories but nothing he couldn't handle since he fell from higher before. However he landed gracefully and without a sound, something few could do. He watched as the lady and the ghouls turn down an alleyway.

   Mitsurugi stood against a a wall in an opposing alleyway as he watched the argument between the two ghouls. His head tilted to the side as he concentrated on the situation. [i] [color=ed1c24]'Obviously the one called Jackal is in charge. Guess I'll cut the head off the snake before anything else can happen.'[/color][/i] With that he looked up to the building next to him and jumped up to its ledge before taking off down the other buildings to go around the alleyway to flank them.

[center][h2]Back in the Alleyway[/h2][/center]

   [color=ed145b]"No No please! Please!? Don't kill me! Don't kill my baby!" [/color]The woman sobbed heavily as she held her stomach. Jackal and Sabertooth moved in on here until she made the comment of binging pregnant which stopped Sabertooth in his tracks. [color=f26522]"Oi, boss, I don't think we should do this. At least not to her."[/color] Jackal, who had his Kagune activated, which was a large ax, stopped and turned to Sabertooth in disbelief. 

[color=00aeef]"The fuck? What you say?"[/color]

[color=f26522]"I said we should leave her be."[/color]

[color=00aeef]"You do realize we haven't eaten in a month and im hungry. I'm not about to wait another week to lure one of this idiot humans to our feeding grounds just because what? You afraid?"[/color]

[color=f26522]"Yeah I am."[/color] Saber said with conviction. Jackal sighed as he lowered his ax down.

[color=00aeef]"Afraid of what? The CCG? If you haven't forgotten they're all-"[/color]

   [color=f26522]"Goddamnit Jackal not the damn CCG...Of Hyde, he's been known to traverse this ward and the two over. He's powerful Jackal. He has rules that some of the ghouls are supposed to follow while he's around and if they don't-" [/color]This caused Jackal to take a step back before grabbing Saber by the collar and lifting him a few inches off the ground. 

[color=00aeef]"Hyde? HYDE!? Your afraid of a random ghoul!? What the hell is wrong with you? Have you gone mental on me. I'm not afraid of some goddamn nobody ghoul who thinks he has some fucking human morals. And for your information no one has even seen him here in months so, WE own these streets now! NOT HIM! I wish that bastard did show his face so I can tear him a new asswhole." [/color]He stepped away from the woman and sabre and paced back and forth, arms raised as he yelled at the top of his lungs. He heard of Hyde there was no denying that. Most of the Ghouls in this Ward know him, or better yet, knew OF him. He left quite n impression in the ward when he took down Eden's Furry, a ghoul crime syndicate that had purposely broken three of his rules and paid the price. But Jackal's arrogance was stronger than his reasoning.

   [color=00aeef]"HYDE! COME OUT HERE AND CLAIM YOUR RIGHT AS KING OF THESE STREETS OTHERWISE THEY BELONG TO THE JACKAL'S SQUAD!" [/color]After a moment or to of dead silence, minus the few car sounds and what not, he went over to Sabre and grabbed him by the color and shoved him to the ground. [color=00aeef]"Told you, he's not here. Your like a child crying about monsters being under your bed."[/color] Rabbit had heard the yelling and turned to the group. [color=fff200]"WILL YOU GUYS SHUTUP!" Your so loud!"

[/color][center][h2]Above the Alleyway[/h2][/center]

   [i][color=ed1c24]'Damn idiot. Time to shut him up before he DOES bring the CCG by.'[/color][/i] Mitsurugi had made his way around to avoid the sentry as the first argument took place. As Mitsurugi had made his way around he could hear the plea from the woman and the argument starting up between the other two ghouls as he neared the ledge that dropped down into the alley. The leaders voice was annoying and it was plainly obvious he was egocentric. He shook his head as he dropped down when the leader shoved his subbornate to the ground. As he landed he looked of to the lady and gestured to her to keep quiet as he stood back up and slowly activated his Kagune Claw which he dubbed the "Crow Claw".

[center][h2] In the Alleyway[/h2][/center]

Saber had enough of Jackals arrogance as he was shoved to the ground. He went to stand as he glared at Jackal until something caught his eye that caused him to become paralyzed with fear. Jackal glared at him until he saw the fear in his eyes. [color=00aeef]"What?"[/color] The only response he got from Saber was a very shaky had followed by a scream from rabbit who immedieately left the two of them. The hair on the back of Jackal's neck rose as he heard a very familiar and haunting voice.

[color=ed1c24]"What is rule 2?"[/color]

[color=00aeef]"R-R-Rule t-t-t-two?"[/color]

[color=ed1c24]"What....is it?"[/color] Hyde placed crow claw on Jackal's shoulder and dug into his flesh.

[color=00aeef]"I-I-I-It's.....i-i-i-i-its...i-i-its"[/color] Stumbled Jackal as his ego and fearlessness was shattered in a matter of seconds. What followed was what one considered a bloodcurdling scream from a male before an abrupt silence. Blood and guts were splattered across the alleyway as Saber sat there in a state of disbelief and paralysis. A smell lingered in the air that resembled feces. That's becasue it was. Saber was literally scared shitless. Hyde had taken Jackal out in only seconds as was expected of his reputation, specifically if one was to break his rules.

[color=ed1c24]"Never eat any women who is pregnant you simpleton."[/color] He flicked his wrist, sending the excess amount of blood and organ particles onto the ground. His kagune slowly deactivated until only a single claw remained. He looked over to the woman. Behind his mask was pity once again. [color=ed1c24]"Are you alright miss?"[/color] IN response a very shaking nod followed by more sobbing. He then turned his attention to Saber who jumped back slightly from where he sat. 

[color=ed1c24]"You...What are my rules."[/color] He said as he looked over at him. His claw to his side for a moment before raising it, keeping one claw up to count. [color=ed1c24]"Rule 1"[/color]

[color=f26522]"D-D-D-D-Do not kill children"[/color] A second claw formed. [color=ed1c24]"Correct...Rule two."[/color]

[color=f26522]"Don't eat anyone who is pregnant."[/color]

A third claw. [color=ed1c24]"Rule three."[/color]

[color=f26522]"T-Though they are our food source, help them out if you can."[/color]

[color=ed1c24]"Correct."[/color] He replied as he struck three of the claws across Sabers chest, which left him in agonizing pain.

[color=ed1c24]"Do you know why I did not kill you just now Saber?"[/color] He shook his head vigorously.

[color=ed1c24]"It's because you...sort have kept to my third rule which voided the necessity to punish you for the second rule. You attempted to stand up for her which I congratulate you for however you still attempted 1 and 2. there for I'll leave you with those."[/color] He pointed to the newly acquired scars on Saber. [color=ed1c24]"To remember never to break them again. Do you understand?" [/color]Saber shook his head as he just laid there with his eyes closed. thanking whoever that he survived.

[color=ed1c24]"Miss, you are free to go."[/color]

[color=f6989d]"You...you monster!"[/color] She yelled at him as she got up shakily and ran out of the alley. He watched with a slightly annoyed expression under his mask as she yelled at him and ran. he leaned to the side and scratched the back of his head. [color=ed1c24]"God man....[I]"Thank you mister for saving me. I thought I was a gonner, jeez."[/i] Cant I get that once in awhile." [/color] He groaned. He figured that after this incedent the CCG would be on their way to investigate so he decided to clean himself up and removed his mask, pacing it on a hook he had on the inside of his coat before he made his way to the end of the other side of the alleyway. He walked down a few streets before taking a left to a coffee house that was nearby. Mitsurugi sighed as he withdrew his pack of cigarettes and his zippo. He flipped it open before lighting the zippo and bringing the flame up to the tip of the cig. He took in a heavy breath, inhaling a large fraction of the cig before exhaling a cloud of smoke. Mitsurugi placed himself on a nearby bench that was at the entrance of a park. He liked to sit down and enjoy his smoke. He had a thing about what he smoked when he smoked. Menthol was meant ONLY for the summer while reds were ONLY for the winter. Once in a while he would break this code of his but tonight was not one of those nights. [i][color=ed1c24]'Ugh, what I wouldn't give for a coffee and some fresh food.'[/color][/i] He thought as he brought a hand to his aching head. He rubbed his temples as he grunted before letting them plop down next to him.
