Sage "Kitsune" Forester | 20th Ward
A shrill beeping pierced the quiet apartment, ringing through the space and causing a small lump under the blankets to stir. One pale hand, small and delicate, emerged from the warm cocoon and fumbled around a moment on the nightstand before it successfully found the alarm clock and gleefully slapped at the snooze button. The quiet now returned and its mission complete, the hand rejoined its brethren under the blankets. The lump was still for a few minutes before a small sigh was heard and the blankets drew back a bit, one bright blue eye blinking sleepily at the far wall amid a tangle of silver hair. Further down the blanket fell before a small form slowly sat up and the blanket fell to rest on the lap of the small girl. Sage blinked and rubbed her eyes sleepily as her feet slid to the carpeted floor and she stumbled her way into the bathroom. The sudden light that accompanied the flicking of the switch made the girl blink owlishly for a few moments as her eyes adjusted before she looked in the mirror. A girl looked back at her, blue eyes bright and silver hair a tangle of curls falling to her slender waist. Sage frowned, hand reaching up to comb through her bangs before she gave up and turned towards the shower. One hot shower and a bathroom was full of steam later, Sage was feeling a little more awake and as she put a pot of coffee on and got dressed as it brewed she wake up even further. She got dressed and hummed softly to herself as she brushed her hair. Soon she was seated at the table sipping contently on a cup of coffee. Once she finished she brushed her teeth and was out the door. After locking the door behind her she tucked her keys away and set off on foot towards the café. As she walked she breathed in the fresh air, feeling a slight ache in her stomach. She would have to feed soon and in another Ward to boot. There were only so many criminals she could feed from here and soon she was going to have to venture to new hunting grounds. As she reached the café she saw that the boss was just unlocking the door. She smiled at Ross and made small talk as he let her in. The girl put her purse and jacket in her locker, tied an apron around herself and flipped the closed around to open. She wiped down tables as she waited for her first customer, humming softly to herself.
