War... War never changes. This is no tale of magic gone wrong. this is a story of evil seeping into the heart of the good. One genius stallion by the name of Tinkergear made the ultimate weapon, and doomed all of ponykind to the stone age when an outside force pressed him to sell it to two already stressed sides of an impending war. The gryphons and the ponies tore themselves asunder with nuclear explosives. Both continents were cast into chaos, despair, and death. The only thing that saved most of the population was the invention of a gryphon named Alex. He created shelters for gryphons and ponies alike, while making the royal shelter for the four princesses and the mane six.
The royal shelter failed, and they all perished. Except pinkie pie. her body was never found. Discord has yet to be seen, though it was known that he had a hand in this disastor. Maybe he too perished in the undeniable devastation that these super weapons caused?
You are one of the survivors of this terrible apocalypse. Be you gryphon, pony, or some other mortal race. You have come through these trials, and though many may be scarred, you are alive.

This roleplay will be like most fallout equestria roleplays, but it is set in southern swamplands. This will warrent for new monsters, and some monsters being tougher or weaker. The southern swamplands were not hit as hard as the rest of the lands, well they were but they sprang back to being a sub-tropical paradise very fast. Religion has come back in force, ponies and gryphons alike going back to olden beliefs from before even the days of discord's rule. Superstition and diety worship that brought them through the less harmonious days through the seeding of hope and sowing of happiness.
The main population over here, however, is of Diamond Dogs. They live deep in the swamps and thrive as tight knit communities that number in the hundreds. The next largest is of earth ponies, and then the fewest population is actually pegasi, unicorns still being in good force. There are more zebras here than there are in the rest of equestria combined. They are welcomed as doctors and cure makers.

They are quite large in size, and are certainly large enough to drag even a death claw sized creature down into the water to drown them in the depths.[/hider]

These are the result of immense radiation and time. At first they were mindless beasts, but slowly they have turned into their own race of free thinking beings. They currently hold a tribal society with an outlook of peace and good will, but get one angry and you'll know what pain really is [/hider]

While they look no different to their smaller cousins, the now huge dire wolves dwarf the regular lupus canis without any effort. While the normal wolf still is around, their numbers are dwindling as these larger canines push them to extinction. [/hider]

These mutated frogs are much like the rock lobsters, they lie in wait for anyone that gets close to them. Though they usually show a disinterest in the larger species, anything smaller than a grown pony is most likely to fall victim to their entrapping tongue lash. [/hider]
