Makaria shivered looking out over the ravine though it wasn't just the cold causing it but it made a difference. She was not the biggest fan of heights and the new landscape provided endless chances to renew the discomfort the surged up whenever they had to make a crossing. Not helped when the first man to make the attempt fell which made the idea of going across even less pleasant but there really was no other choice as to staying or going. She made her way up next to the cable taking a deep breath to steady herself before starting to slowly inch herself along keeping her eyes up and away from the chasm below giving total focus to staying on the rope. The wind was forcing her to be more cautious with her large coat threatening to catch a gust which would strain her grip or at worst pull her clean off. It took her longer but she made it to solid ground after a close call right at the end causing her to scramble onto the snow wanting to be about as far away from the ravine as possible. It took a little work to calm down afterwards and the small woman was obviously not pleased as she muttered in complaint while getting the now off the larger coat as best she could. Couldn't have just been open area like the last place... She thought annoyed with the environment itself for making her do stupid things like going across a gap. Makaria deciding against looking back took in what was in front of her trying to see if she could spot anything that stuck out in the white, maybe a building that still managed to be above ground. Nothing jumped out quite yet with the wind stirring up all the snow on the surface making long distance vision damn near impossible drawing a sigh out of the Finn who wouldn't mind being able to worm into a building about now.
