Oh yeah the replacements do wear out, you're right. You'd just have to get it again and that's more money and more stress and everything else you don't need. Doing one surgery rather than one plus a possible second later makes no sense. I hope you can do something proactive so you can get back to doing more things and feeling a lot less pain. That would be a great treat. :3
