"Salutations," Elizabeth said to the boy she did not know. They seemed to be enraptured by those pets. What a shame it was, to treat those creatures blessed with intelligence with the same type of fawning that they gave to the lowly creatures of Earth. Elizabeth thought that they were not nearly as accustomed to the ways of this world as she was, but Elizabeth gave no hints from her personality and demeanor that suggested this condescending attitude. She wondered when class would start.
