Fyrdgard Elves (Generally High Elf stereotypes), Tyrgard Humans (Lives to 300+ years), Gyrdion Dwarves, Crunyth Tieflings (Not sure why they are corrupted or why the clouds of ash passed over them.), Redrook Half-Orcs (Not half-anything, but corrupted by an unknown source.), Pygasi Isle Gnomes (Mostly Forest Gnome stereotype, although tinker gnomes are generally shipwrights), Belhill Isle Halflings (Mosty Lightfoot, but some Stout Soldiers), and Yggorisihv Dragonborn (Guardians of the World Tree).

Yes, and yes. Just double everything and make the equipment sound Norse and made out of crystals.

Of course!:
Elves: Residents of Fyrdgard, very magic oriented people. Possess an artifact known as the Dragon's Orb, which contains the soul of the Ashen Drake. The acquiring of this artifact sparked the Descent of Jathygaer. They are believed to hail from deep caverns under what was formerly Mount Fyrdgard. They have a rich history and culture, and have historically been very visitor-friendly. The very long lived elves have established a haven for all kinds in Fyrdgard.
Humans: Originally made up of savage clans that inhabited the Nurthwyld, it is said that a small contingent of exiled Terrans sailed on the historic Tyrik's Ark to create a small fishing village. This village eventually grew into a town that offered refuge for future exiles and pilgrims who had come to seek the fabled Hearthland. These pilgrims eventually established the Order of the Hearth, establishing a Cathedral in the newly dubbed town of Tyrgard. They then anointed Tyrik as Tyr, King of Tyrgard. They have since built Tyragrd into a sprawling port city. Sadly, this city became the location of the great battle between Jathygaer the Ashen and the Heroe Adelhird Difrael, wielder of Daerun. (Lifespan is 450 years, BTW. Same as dwarves and slightly under elves)

So you want to travel the world, eh? You want some gold? A slap on the head? Bugger off and leave a man to drink!

You want advice? From me! Nobody asks for advice from sellswords unless it's based around what's the quickest route to run away. Or where's a peasant to butcher so a nobleman can keep his hands clean. Don't look at me like that! You want to travel, you have to face the truths of the world.

Well it's true I've been around a bit. Worked in pretty much every place from left to right, you can sweep your arm across a map and I've been there, working for ever kind of person. The way to do it? You've got to know people.

I'm not talking as closed minded as knowing individual people, or god forbid contacts (you think I'm some kind of spy?). It's about knowing who a person is, and what to expect. Of course there's going to be exceptions to the rule, but you should be able to tell that on a situational basis. Listen close, and don't interrupt! This is the way I see it, and if you think otherwise take it somewhere else! (as in make changes to this before you upload it wherever you want to)

I'll start with the Elves. If there was an Elf here they'd want me to start with them, which is something you've always got to remember; Elves always like to be on top. Don't look at me like that! I didn't mean any innuendo! An Elf would zap you for that smirk, almost all of them have got a good talent for magic. I don't mean the practical joke kind I'm sure you're used to your father doing, zapping your mum on the arse every now and then. I mean real stuff! Rituals and all kinds you don't want to poke with a ten foot pole!

Not like I mind talking about Elves first, mind you. Pretty women, pretty men for that matter too. And there's a lot to talk about. Here in human settlements you rarely see libraries, hell you can hardly find folk who can actually read! But over there in Frygard they actually teach the common folk to read and write. And as such they have libraries all over the place, chronicling all sorts of history and fiction. You see, the Elves just love to talk about themselves, and turn their nose up at other species. What do you mean have I read any of their books? Do I look like I have pointy ears to you? I haven't been taught to read you cretin!

As much as I jest about the Elves looking down on everyone else, they are actually quite accepting. That's why any race can walk into Frygard and be accepted by them. Free access to goods, knowledge and they won't be judged. Sometimes people deserve to be on top kid, and they do. Sort of like Parents to all other races, or a better example would be Tutors. Imagine if an Elf walked into this village, and all the curious glances they'd get and the whispers to make their huge ears glow red

Now Dwarves hoard gold like Dragons, Human money changes hands like water flowing through a river but the Elves have one treasure above all their worth. Most other races would vye for it if they knew what it did. The Dragons Orb! I've seen it with me own eyes, but a thousand men and women will tell you the same tale. I would say Legend has it this orb contains the soul of an Ashen Drake, but it isn't legend kid. If you eat your greens and get a lot more money I'm sure you can learn to read and go find those posh books of theirs to find out about it. Bards in Frygard often sing of the small group of adventurers of all races journeying into Mount Frygard to seek their fortune, and so they did! Or was it an army? Anyways! Lah de dah it caused 'The Descent Jaffy-gear'. What? Well look who's the little scholar then. Fine! The descent of Jathygaer it is then! Just for correcting me you're going to have to wait a couple of days for me to tell you anymore! Leave me to drink, kid!
