Zenia perked up at the mention of these 'crystal rivers' they sounded fascinating and if the queen's cut of statement was correct they could grant some sort of power, having power of some sort would be very helpful in surviving in this strange world. Her eyes quickly scanned the room again keeping track of all those it in, just in case some of them were not as friendly as they appeared. It seemed some of them had the same idea as one girl made her way into the chimney and a man quickly followed. Interesting. One of the 'servants' named Jason spoke up inquiring as to their names. "I'm Zenia R-" she cut off before listing her last name, that information wasn't really needed here for several reasons. One on priciple you didn't give out your last name, second; if this was indeed not a dream then being able to fill in her last name as needed could be helpful for forging a new identity. She continued over her brief pause "Zenia, and this is Julia."" Zenia noted Julia staring at someone who had decided to grab a sword and point it rather aggressively at them. Immediatly she saw Julia's eyes shift in color to that, probably quite often reoccurring red, and began to take offensive action. Zenia observed worriedly, she couldn't exactly get in the way for fear of getting hit by the queen nor should she do nothing while the queen potentially was harmed. Her inactivity let the action continue without her as an arrow slammed into the wall breaking the queen out of her rage. Zenia was surprised by the sudden emotion swap of the queen, interesting. It seemed the general idea was to flee up the chimney, Zenia frowned, she wasn't sure she could pull that off in particular with her asthma. Usually it didn't act up but with all the smoke there...

Arathyra gave a small eep of fright when the archer punched the tree. Clearly he felt rather strongly about this but, still she couldn't just accept that Lord Alvin was just hiding behind a front of kindness, it seemed too real for that. Perhaps he'd just had some bad times in the past with nobles and he was letting it cloud his mind. Still she followed him silently, mulling over his words. Well, she wasn't speaking anyway, silent passage was another thing altogether. Though it got a little easier after she began following the archer closely since he was having an easier time of it then she was. As they entered the camp Arathyra looked around saddened by what she saw. All these children, probably starving. All the wounded with a single old man attempting to heal them as best he could. She reluctantly followed the group into what appeared to be some sort of strategy room. She listened to the discussion silently as nothing she would've had to say would've been important. Arathyra waited curiously to see Archibald's response to Lord Marwood's offer.

Intro:

Intro 1: Walks on screen and stomps on the ground creating a brief imprint before adopting a *pose with her right foot sticking slight forward and her arms hanging loosely at her sides

Three-7 Special Moves:

Heavy Impact: This move simultaneously reduces the opponents gravity and enhances Krysthane's to the minimum and maximum she can handle respectively. This occurs at the same time that Krysthane jumps into the air and slams both feet into the opponent with devastating force. This move deals additional damage if the opponent is guarding and breaks through it. If the attack is ducked or otherwise dodged then Krysthane will fall onto the ground becoming briefly vulnerable. If the attack hits, then Krysthane will flip off the opponent landing safely.

Vacuum Punch: Krysthane opens her hand for a second or two then clenches it violently dragging in anything slighter further than her normal attack range if not guarding or in the air and stunning them. Then right as they almost reach her fist she brings it forward sending them flying backwards. Shifts to heavy gravity.

Jet Blast: An evasive or combo move. Ksythane floats off the ground with one boot and uses the other to propel herself. This can go backwards, or forward allowing her to 'catch' enemies if she hits them before they reach the ground and continue attacking. Shifts to light gravity.

Feeling the pressure?: This is a simple move in which Krysthane chops her hand downward knocking any projectiles or opponents to the ground. Shifts to heavy gravity.

Instant Kill: Hailing from Guilty Gear is the 'instant kill' move. If this hard-to-hit attack lands, the round ends after a short cut-scene that depicts the attacker destroying the opponent in one way or another. To be sure, not all kill the opponent; many even do something silly, like Faust's 'This is Me?' and May's cannon thing. Take a look, then think of something that only your character can ever do. Rule of Cool is much in effect for this move. Oh, and if you like, you can specify certain reactions that are specific to other characters if your Instant Kill is used on them.

However all too soon: the voice of his ruler called him once more, instructing him to once more head to the foul realm of combat that he must attend. Not too different from his home, this realm was also one of knowledge, but not easily won with simple keys no. This knowledge was held by very different lock-openers.

Relentless battle was needed to win the knowledge from scarred heart-wood and the masters of that realm. Luckily combat was not undertaken alone, for many friend-solders could be found there: easing the ceaseless battle for knowledge

Sadly the most important of battles from whence you were judged by the masters could only be taken in solemn silence, once separated from all comrades. All of this the warrior knew as he was devoured by the yellow beast.

The beast plodded along consuming more and more victims until at last they were freed: at least freed to begin battle. The warrior armed himself with the tools of his trade and boldly stepped forward, prepared to begin a battle that would last until the sun was high in the sky. Knowing that this was the beginning of nearly 180 more days of combat before a meaningful rest could be had.

Strauss brought as his arm back as a cut suddenly appeared on his arm from a shadow that leapt from the trees, the cut was surprisingly shallow but also very, very, annoying painful. He looked around frantically almost beginning to panic when things got even worse a low growl began emanating from the bushes. Looking at the source Strauss saw a fearsome white lion creature snarl viciously and then quickly run away.

To his surprise the shadows returned to normal and the sunlight that he hadn't noticed vanish quickly returned. He looked at his arm that was now welling up with blood, "Well I don't know if we have HPs or whatever but it hurt." he said in response to Esmay's question. He pondered for a moment before cutting off the sleeve of his T-shirt using the cloth to cover the wound and tying it as best he could. "Guess we keep going and hope we find something to fight off those shadows before they come back, we should probably hurry."

The silver streaker's warning came just in time to alert Varguss of the incoming attack. He jumped backwards and summoned his golem, causing the arm to hit his golem if anything as Varguss made some room. Deciding that staying on the possibly unstable structure was unwise Varguss made his way to another building and looked at the situation again. It looked like there were some more players nearby but more importantly Mr.silver was now attacking the monster's head, quite impressive really.

Megan carefully examined her deck. It seemed to be based around using strong warrior monsters and then giving them equip cards to make them unstoppable, and then it had several cards useful for stopping traps. It seemed the idea was to get out a monster with mega attack, and just run over your opponent. Megan wasn't sure how she felt about playing with such a naturally aggressive deck but she was ready to give it a try. Megan turned at the sound of someone breathing heavily, it looked like someone had chosen the stairs over the elevator. With a massive backpack no less, Megan grinned a little, and they said girls packed too much. At least she was smart enough to get it sent ahead of time. She decided that she should get in a little practice, so after one last look at the cards she stuck them in her deck and looked for somebody to do a little practice duel with.

After a brief look she noticed a girl standing in the back, about the same age as her, who also looked as though she wanted somebody to talk to. Megan made her way over clearly stepping into the girl's line of sight and said, "Hey, my name's Megan, I was wondering if you could have a little practice duel with me before the real thing starts? Just to get used to you decks you know?" Megan asked hopefully. It seemed reasonable to her, though she could understand if the other girl wanted to keep her deck a secret, though really they were all using starter decks so there wasn't much point in it. Megan admired the girl's pretty dress, she had just chosen a nice pair of jeans for herself.

Bristlebane woke up with a snort as the alarm went of, "I'm up I'm up!" he cried out before realizing there wasn't anyone there. Also figuring that he had spent more than enough time out of the cave he packed up his stuff and charged into the cave yelling wildly. Bristlebane skidded around the corner to see... that the fighting was pretty much already over.

Krysthane enjoyed Oobleck insightful lecture and the way he was constantly questioning the students to ensure their participation. Naturally Krysthane raised her hand and answered at least as many questions as anyone else, all the while studiously taking notes. Sadly class ended too quickly, however Krysthane wasn't that disappointed as lunch was as enjoyable as any class. She walked out of class thinking that maybe she would try eating at the new Deli that was available, not that the school food was bad, she just wanted to try something new. Besides she had seem some people heading over there already. As she walked out of class she saw Abel leaning against a wall looking deep in thought. Figuring that this was a perfect chance Krysthane walked up to him and said, "Hey, I was thinking about going to the new Deli N'Doul, you up for it?"

Jax used his Equipment Appraisal skill to examine the spear. As he expected it was substantially better than his, even out weighing the worth of his shield. He set it back down on the table and looked outside at the source of the noise. "Suppose we should at that, first though I think I'll take this, how much you want for it?" He inquired. Hopefully it wasn't too much, though he expected it would cost at least half his current coinage.

The noise grew concerningly loud and Jax opened the door and peeked outside to find a nearly literal wave of monsters attacking. After a brief moment to take in it he yelled as loud as he could. "EVERYONE GET IN A BUILDING!" He held the door open for anyone who wanted to come rushing in and was prepared to close it as soon as the monsters got close enough.

He doubted they could run and standing in the streets was pointless. Either the monsters would crash through or they would stop and try to attack them. However if they had to cram through the doorways one or two at a time the players could slaughter them as they came in. Jax looked inside and yelled at the patrons inside, "Push the tables over and form a barricade around the door, if they break we're going to be in trouble. And do the same for the stairs in case they come from upstairs!"

Hopefully they could finish preparations before those monsters arrived, though he wasn't sure if even all this would help. No matter, they had to do what they could. Jax readied his spear and shield.

Moros sighed, Cecile had gotten quite a few packs for him but he didn't like changing his deck that much. It felt too much like he was betraying it. He had only put in two or three of the cards he actually got. Oh well, now was time for the tournament to start!

Moros was already pumped up and he hadn't even started dueling yet. He stuck his deck into his disk and hopped on his bike making his way to the center of the tournament area and figuring he would work his way out from there. As he came to a halt to his surprise he didn't even have to look for someone as he was immediately challenged. "Hey you, you're playing in the tournament right? If so then lets duel!" his competitor said. Moros smiled eagerly, "Of course I am, lets duel!"
