Levi DiCaliente - Huskers Restaurant
Levi stared at the bus window for a few minutes, the glass was riddled in graffiti; some of the words were hardly legible, but he was able to make out the words ‘N0T Al0Ne’ and ‘Al3ayS WAtCh1Ng’ on the lower corners of the pane. The notion was unsettling to Levi, for a moment he actually believed he was being watched; but shook it off as an attempt at a better morning. It was a good fifteen minutes before the bus had made its stop at the main street strip, the bus came to a halt and the passengers exited; Levi included. The walk to Huskers wasn’t very far, he felt very overdressed as he walked through the crowd of typical tourists and bums who didn’t have a dime to their name. Levi had become friends with a homeless woman a few years back, often bringing her McDonalds when he could; but she had been murdered months ago in the back of some nightclub, her body was found in a dumpster – and it seemed like Levi was the only one who cared. Eventually, his loafers took him to the same place he’s always been; Huskers Restaurant –even though the place had a fully functioning Bar and Grill aspect, he found it best not to question. Levi walked inside, spotting a regular by the name of Jackson sitting at his usual table; glancing out the window at nothing in particular as he sipped the complementary water that sat on the Huskers coaster. “Good Morning, Mr. Jones.” Levi put on his fake smile and looked away from the attractive man, hesitant to say anything more. It was no secret that Levi was a timid fellow, often blushing and stuttering when around an attractive man; he came to the conclusion to shut his mouth, do not speak unless spoken too. Jackson Jones was a regular at Huskers though, he figured he would say at least a few words to the guy; he does see the man quite often, and the last thing Levi needed was enemies. "-Sorry to bother you, but have you seen AJ around recently?" Levi knew exactly where AJ was, he was only trying to start conversation; a bit of socialization never killed no one? -Right?
