Cole looked to Logan, ready to speak before Adrian came, but she didn’t get the chance to as everything happened so quickly. Her nerves calmed quicker than Logan’s had, obviously, and she gave him a moment. He spoke and she nodded. “Thank you, Logan.” She said. “And just so you know, I know you and Billie aren’t together, I understand the situation, but nothing should ever stop you from chasing what you want. There are good vibes between you two, and your opinion matters more to her than she leads on.” They were nearing their respective dorms before she spoke again. “And by the way, I will repay you for helping me out. Somehow, some way .” she entered her dorm, walking over to her desk and pulling out a joint and lighting it up, exhaling happily. She quickly changed into her uniform. She exited the room to see Clary getting ready to enter Logan’s dorm. “Clary.” She said, her barefeet carrying her over to the ghost. “Oh, hey Cole.” She smiled. “You saw, I know you did. And I know you can see it too. His aura.” Cole spoke, calmly and Clary nodded. “I know, it’s edgy and I don’t like it. Trust me, I’m working on getting him out of Billie’s eye. She knows about the attack.” Clary said to Cole, waving a little pouch. “I managed to call in a few favors and got Logan some elementalists to give me some blood for him.” Cole nodded. “I’m heading to class then. I’m sure Salazar and Drakon are waiting for their morning dose.” She said, blowing out a puff of smoke from her joint. “Just be careful, Clary, Logan isn’t in a good mood.” Clary nodded before phasing into his room, arranging the vials of blood on his emptying rack. It had been pretty full last night, she remembered, so she was sure he’d appreciate the gift. She sat on his bed and when he came out she crossed to him and noticed a bit of burnt skin on his collar. “He hurt you.” She frowned. “I knew he was bad news from the beginning. But hopefully this will get taken care of.” She offered a small smile to Logan. “I just came to check on you. I know how you get when you gotta get up early. Would be a lot easier if you decide to move in with me.” She commented, slyly. “But I better go, Billie is TA in my Ancient Languages and Dialects class, so you know it’s going to be good. Have fun, bro.” She gave Logan a small hug before phasing out of his room, and once in the hallway again, she made herself transparent and holding Logan’s door shut as Adrian walked passed, muttering. “This is never going to work with that angel bitch around. Or that vampire. Ugh. Need to rethink. He won’t be pleased with no one.” He grumbled, his voice barely loud enough for Clary to understand, but soon she released the know and allowed herself to reappear once Adrian bounded the corner. She shook her head and headed off towards her class, finally. - Alex sighed, closing the door behind him. He should stay. He should walk his sister to class. But Billie wasn’t going to have it, and he wasn’t going to push her buttons right now. She already said that the issue with Adrian was going to be taken care of, which made him a little more worried. Still, he headed off to class, Justin falling in step with him. “Dude man, where were you last night?” Justin asked. “Our party was off the hook. And we met the new guy, Adrian. He wasn’t feeling the best when he got back to our dorm, but man he can sink a bottle. We should hook him up with your sister.” He said, and Alex shot him a look. “For the love of Lucifer, Justin. We’re not hooking Billie up with Adrian. He’s a parasite and the sooner that gets through your head the better off we will all be.” Alex said, his eyes blackening. He moved quicker, leaving Justin behind as he walked into the Botany classroom. His eyes returned to normal, and he smiled upon seeing Jordyn. He headed over, and when he received a soft kiss he smiled a little more. He listened to the introduction and he held out his hand. “Nice to meet you Eric.” He said, and he listened to the explanation and chuckled. “I may not know your sisters, Jordyn, but if I can weather Billie for her whole life, I would like to think I can handle a bit more than the average person.” He said. “To be honest, I’m surprised Billie took to you so quickly. I think Blaze warming up to you helped her. Billie isn’t known for her accepting nature.” He pulled Jordyn’s chair out for her and sat beside her. “So, do you just have your two sisters?” he asked Jordyn as they waited for the teacher and class to officially begin. - Billie looked herself over in the mirror again, pulling her hair up into a half up- half down do, and she closed her eyes again, looking to her pendant. It was burning a normal gray light, and she tucked it into her shirt before she opened her desk drawer and pulled out a small green vial and sunk it’s contents. The Arch Mage had required her to take the potion after a bad night to help her level out better, and soon she left her dorm and headed down the hall only to see Adrian heading her way. She decided to keep calm for now, but he was obviously mumbling to himself, so she walked over and fell into step with him. “Morning.” She greeted and Adrian looked to her. “Before you say anything, I’m not going to apologize for last night. You struck a nerve and I’m going to tell you now, strike said nerve again and I will make an example of you. The other demons don’t fuck with me because they know I’m being serious. You should learn the same.” Adrian nodded. There was a silence as they walked together, and he looked to Billie. “So, what’s your first class?” “Ancient Languages and Dialects.” She answered and he chuckled. “Can’t you teach that course?” he asked her and she nodded. “Hence why I’m a teachers assistant.” She said, and the silence fell over them again, and Adrian saw Cole coming down the hall, hanging her head low as she ducked into a classroom with two others and he saw Billie and he were heading to the same one. “Billie, can I make it up to you? I tend to get possessive over people I care for.” He asked and Billie shot him a sidelong glance. “You’ve still got a chain to go up, Adrian. I have a reputation to uphold, and I’m not going to falter for you.” She said, entering the classroom and Adrian watched her figure as she took some pages off the teacher’s desk and began handing them out to the students. Adrian saw the top of the page that read a Old Demonic and an outline to their coursework for the next month. He sat in the back, seeing Cole and Clary in the front and he watched as Billie began writing on the board as they waited for the teacher. He sat back, and he closed his eyes for a minute before he heard a large book plop on his desk. He was still in pain from Billie’s attack last night, and the more he looked at her the more he wanted to know what happened. What language she had used. There was so much that was odd about it, and then earlier the angel girl spoke a similar but more painful to his ears dialect that he assumed was angelic dialect. Well, this would be the class to learn. He then saw Molly as Billie continued to hand out the pages and waving her hand to distribute the large text books they would be using.
