rives all the trees with your consciousness
makes a self replicating race of tree people
The seed is some variation on the last ailment in Pandora's box; ultimate hope.
The seed is a virus that puts every living thing to sleep and makes it feel as though it's living in a perfect world.
The seed isn't real.
Also; adventure of the week type thing until we get to the seed, ala fantasy Cowboy Bebop
