He's prone to highly energetic bursts of activity in rather sporadic periods, optimistic and cheerful and generally a really peppy guy. That changes after an hour or so, and he becomes somewhat grumpy, tired, sluggish, and overall a bit of an ass to deal with. He's never excessively tired however, as long as he takes one of his legendary fifteen minute power naps, after which he looks like he just got a full night's sleep and goes right back to being happy. [b]History:[/b] Born the oldest of four children to a German toy-maker, a modest living was all that Haas' father could afford for his family, and barely even at that. Despite the financial troubles they went through, his father always maintained an air of exuberant optimism, that was almost infectious. Wanting to be like his father, Haas worked hard to always have a smile on his face. Balancing the work at the store along with his education, Haas' friends eventually got him into Duel Monsters, and the toymaker's son was surprisingly decent at it. Well, he at least knew which way a chain went. Ironically, Haas took the entrance exam for the Duel Tower Academy entirely by accident, having one of his "tired" episodes wound up getting him to sign up for some sorta desert dueling school. He passed the exams no problem and lo and behold, he was off. His father, rather than being worried about the store with one less set of hands was supportive, willing to believe that his son could make his (apparent) dreams of becoming a professional Duelist come true. However that worked.
