[@Kafka Komedy] The Kinetic idea sounds overpowered. At a certain point it would just be able to completely overcome any defenses, as well as being able to stop any attack. So I'm gonna say no to that. The Gunpowder idea doesn't sound nearly as bad, so maybe you can go with that. I plan to demonstrate magic pretty early on in the story, so as to alleviate any confusion on the mechanics and capabilities, so I can't expect anyone to have a perfect grasp considering the IC hasn't even started.
