[@KatherinWinter] "Vaffanculo!" The short boy was quick to push the guard off of him. They just never listened, did they? None of them ever listened! That crazy scientist, the guards, the contacts who had promised him his charge back, that stupid girl who didn't even care enough to even contribute to any sort of planning, and now this bozo who was probably looking for a promotion for doing nothing. None of them even tried! Nobody ever tried in any of these stupid places in this whole stupid country, it seemed! It was more than infuriating, it was maddening! If at least one of them had even made an attempt... Grabbing the push broom, he bolted out the door before the guard had a chance to try stopping him for something ridiculous again. As he slammed the door on the way out, he hoped that it actually would jam. Maybe then, at least one idiot would think twice before just ignoring him again. ...Even if it had meant to be little more than an excuse to stay out of trouble this time. But hey, how exactly did anyone expect him to do as he was told with all of these busybodies obstructing his progress all the time? Did they expect to be able to do this when they sent him out on actual missions, because that was more likely to get him killed. This place was more like the Fun House than any kind of real research facility to him. Trying not to let the frustration shake him any more than it already was, he ran off in search of another room to check. They clearly weren't actually trying to make this like a real mission after all, so he might as well just keep to the obnoxious agenda and figure out ways to game the system on the go. Maybe nobody else here had any real goals, but he had someone depending on him. He couldn't lose, not now.
