As the team moved on towards the basement entrance, Zhevon entered a side room. While still aflame, he was confident his built in respirator and robes would keep him safe from the heat and smoke. He reached a few cogitators, likely used for accounting and messages. He opened them and quickly grabbed their datachips, some damaged, others fine. He hoped that Alpha would be able to gather some data from these chips. He then heard a new voice. "Zhevon Amoxa, of the Ordo Malleus? Echo Nurian Reporting" Zhevon stepped out of the side room, patting out some cinders that had gathered on his robes. There stood an Arbite, handing out some transfer papers. Zhevon took the papers and looked down at them, examining them. He rose an eyebrow, looking up at the Arbite, then at the papers. Then at his Mastiff behind him. Again at the papers. He tilted his head backwards and scratched it, the papers were official, legitimate. Yet he had not requested this Echo Nurian in his retinue. Did he? He folded the papers and handed it back to Echo. "Arbite Nurian, I don't recall requesting you into my retinue." He cautiously said, "There must have been a mistake... Anyways, since you're already here, I might as well keep you." He decided, "Be wary, the Ordo Malleus is not for the feint of heart. We will face unimaginable creatures every hour of the day. And every other hour we will be running from unthinkable horrors every other hour." He explained, his voice grim and serious, "But for now we are walking through a flaming building searching for any bit of evidence that would aid us in the hunt against Heresy." He explained, his voice reverting back to its normal tone, "We would be glad to have you join us. And know that because of this mistake of assignment, you will have the choice to leave my retinue at any time you see fit... However. You will never truly leave my service. That is something you cannot have a say in, yet."
