[@Jangel13] Yes the reason he rage quite was my fault and for that I am sorry but in my defense he overreacted to the extreme. J and I were in a Zelda RP and J is a bit of a free thinker looking for things outside the strictest definitions of the Zelda continuity. There's nothing wrong with that, he came up with some cool ideas but it did mean that everything he thought up had to be run past Apollo the GM and myself the Co-GM. The trouble was that he quite literally exploded if you asked him to change anything or told him his ideas wouldn't work in the current format of the RP. Recently he presented me and Apollo with a new idea he had (giving Shadow Link a dark fairy as a companion but that's not really important). He presented us with a post for the introduction of said character and asked our advice on how it would work out. I gave him some pointers on about five logistical things in the post, certain enemies that wouldn't be where he put them, little stuff easy to fix that sort of thing and asked him to be a little clearer on certain concepts. Then I told him that as a whole his character concept could use a little revision and gave him some pointers on how he might go about it, whether he wanted to follow me or not that was his choice. After asking for my advice and receiving it this was the essence of his response.
All things considered, if I was going to stay on RolePlayerGuild, I would have loved to be Veran with that knowledge. But you have LITERALLY DISINTEGRATED MY OPINION OF THIS SITE!!!!!!!! I WANT TO HAVE YOU ARRESTED for crimes against all RP rules EVER CREATED! I leave you with advice I tried to get through your ass to your brain when I finally noticed you use your ass to talk. STIFLING CREATIVITY WITH RULES NO ONE KNOWS ENDS WITH THIS TYPE OF PM OR WORSE ON YOUR RECORD!
I am really sorry that I played a part in making your GM quite the site but really I think it was just a matter of time till someone set him off enough to make him want to leave. I mean no disrespect by that just how it seemed to me. I was trying to help the RP not tell him his writing was crap, for most RPs I'm in I have standards I hold myself to but I don't expect other people to follow them. As long as it's clear what it is your doing I'm not going to argue with you. And yes Jangel I realize we had a number of discussions about your posts on HOB but that was really more about grammatical accuracy and I promise I'm not going to try and correct other people's works no matter if forgotten punctuation annoys me or not. I learned that lesson well enough. With that said I've not had a chance to read all the characters but I gather that all five of the sacred swords are already claimed with that in mind I was wondering the rules regarding magic in the kingdoms and owning or creating magical items. Also are their actual mages or does all magic require artifacts? Not that I want to play a mage but information is essential when making a new character.
