Winterfield-san...It has to be Winterfield-san. Only she would do something like this. thought Hikaru as he hung upside-down from a tree. Let's turn back the clock a bit. The previous afternoon and evening -after giving up on trying to be a tough guy in front of two demons in the guise of girls- had actually not been that bad. Granted, the two girls had left for a while to do their own thing, leaving the room to himself. For a little while, he thought about the fact that his roommates were both girls, but he felt it was okay. He wasn't exactly into them after that first encounter. Although... he was curious about one thing. Their bodies, of course! What, were you expecting something else? There were so many rumors spoken by both boys and girls that the quality of their looks was a mystery even to himself, and he's usually a good judge when it comes to these things. Hikaru had ended up shoving the matter to the side, as he didn't want to think about them much for a bit. Instead, he turned his attention to the exercise earlier that day. He had no idea how it worked, but he guessed that was his own fault. He didn't understand how to apply it that way. Don't get him wrong, he knew how to use it. He had to have learned something by now, but he really never showed it. After all, it was just basic stuff. Besides, Hikaru never really learned much more than it anyway, so the little wall technique was just not possible for him. Still, it was fun to play around with. He spent some time fiddling with a few orbs of light, just turning them into different stuff. A ball, a die, a Den-Den Daiko- He really just did it to pass the time. He stopped before either of his roommates returned. Even doing something like that kinda takes some energy out of him. He couldn't remember when he fell asleep, but he knew that what he was doing earlier contributed to him falling asleep quickly. He woke up this morning to the smell of toasted bread, and found that his roommates had left him breakfast. Hikaru accepted the meal and ate it all...then he realized that he was late for class...again... Hikaru ran through the hall just like the day before, and made it to the class once more. He had no doubt in his mind that his teacher probably saw him as an annoyance by now. He sat down in his seat, looking down. The class passed by, and he found himself heading over to the meeting place of the mission. It was mandatory, so he really didn't have much of a choice, but that didn't mean that he felt comfortable about it. Chasing off bandits wasn't exactly something he thought he'd have to do. He saw some of the others meeting up ahead, and started running over to get there faster. He passed by the tree that Kaori was sleeping against, and the next thing he knew he was strung up to the tree by his leg. And here we are. Hikaru looked up to the branch that the other end of the rope was tied onto. When he saw Victorica up in the tree as well, he gave her an unamused look. He didn't exactly glare at her, because the trap wasn't that bad, and she had this mischievous aura about her. Still, it was annoyong, and right next to Kaori, which would probably put her in a bit of danger too if she woke up. Not wanting to continue looking like an idiot, Hikaru climbed the rope. It wasn't really that hard, and it wasn't as if he didn't pick anything up from the school. He still got a bit stronger. All he really needed to do was grab hold of the thing and work from there. Once he got up to the branch, Hikaru pulled himself onto it, and undid the knot around his leg. Hikaru took a moment to catch his breath, and the proceeded to say, "Why is there a trap by the tree!?"
