The shorter boy, though caught a bit off-guard by the sudden switch, was undeterred as he watched the other ride away through the next section of the course. [color=7bcdc8]"Tch! Not enough!"[/color] Speeding up as he approached the end of the platform, he reached into his vest and pulled out a scarf, which he proceeded to snap like a whip toward the railing as soon as he got close. Once the other end had reached over, he grabbed it and jumped, letting it slide down toward the log while he hung on. 

As he slid closer to the log, he let go of one side of the scarf and grabbed for the ring holding the log, nearly cursing when he thought he was about to fall. Once he had it within his grasp, he pulled himself on top of the log and jumped off as it neared the other side, running to the edge of the tilting table before turning and stopping to wait for Nerva.
