WIP, now I just need to get the personality section done.
-Servant CS- Class: Lancer Master: TBD True Name: Fionn mac Cumhaill, a.k.a. Finn McCool. Birth name is Deimne mac Cumhaill. Gender: Male Height: 276 cm Weight: 162 kg Alignment: Lawful Good Strength: A+ Endurance: A Agility: D Prana: D Luck: D Noble Phantasm: A Class Skills: - Magic Resistance: A Cancel spells of A-Rank or below. In practice, the Servant is untouchable to modern magi, so it would not be an exaggeration to title the Servant a "Magus Killer". Skills: - Charisma: C As the head of the legendary Fianna, Fionn is competent in regards to leading small bands of warriors, and potentially armies, but a king he is not. - Knowledge of the Salmon: A The rather nonsensical name of this Skill originates from a story in which a young Fionn aided a druid named Finegas in catching the Salmon of Wisdom. This magical piscine creature was said to grant immense knowledge to the one who ate it, hence why the druid sought it. It's also worth noting that the Salmon's powers were not its own, as it had gained them from consuming the similarly named Nuts of Wisdom. Unfortunately for poor Finegas, while Fionn was cooking the Salmon, he burned his thumb, resulting in him shoving it into his mouth, subsequently transferring its questionably awesome powers to him. In practice, Fionn has his mental faculties greatly enhanced so long as his thumb is inside his mouth. - Healing Hands: B Water drunk from Fionn's hands becomes capable of mending even mortal wounds, given enough time. However, the water must be from a natural source (rivers, lakes, oceans, ect.) in order to work. Also, if the water leaves his hands before it can be drunk, it will lose its healing properties. - Bran and Sceolang: E A pair of Irish Wolfhounds born from either Fionn's sister or aunt (depends on the source), who had been transformed into a dog while pregnant with twins. As a result, the dogs are highly intelligent and immensely loyal to him, and will follow almost any command within reason. However, while they were trained to hunt and fight alongside their master, they are physically identical to a mundane dog of their breed. Thus, the twin dogs are best suited to aiding Fionn in tracking his opponents, and perhaps in a fight against one of the weaker Servants. Fionn may summon them to his side by expending a minuscule amount of Prana. However, the legend begins not with Fionn himself, but his father, who bore the name Cumhaill. Cumhaill lead the Fianna, a legendary brotherhood of Ireland's finest warriors, and whilst his legend is obscured by the brilliance of his son's deeds, they were far from unimpressive. But, for the sake of being concise, we will only cover the tail-end of Cumhaill's life. Having taken a liking to Muirne, the daughter of Tadg mac Nuadat, he asked for her hand in marriage. Unfortunately for Cumhaill, Tadg foresaw that if his daughter were to marry, it would lead to the loss of his ancestral home, and so denied his request. Now, Cumhaill was not one to take such a rejection sitting down, and promptly decided to simply kidnap Muirne and flee as quickly as he could. Unfortunately for Cumhaill, his bride's father was no ordinary man, and angering him would prove to be his downfall. For not only was Tadg a warrior of some renown, he was a highly influential druid, the demi-god son of Nuada Airgetlám (the first King of the Tuatha Dé Danann), and a close friend of the current High King of Ireland: Conn of the Hundred Battles. Thus, Conn removed Cumhaill from his position as leader of the Fianna, and declared him an outlaw. Despite Cumhaill's best efforts, he was eventually slain by Aedh mac Morna, henceforth known as Goll mac Morna, due to losing an eye in the process. The legend of Cumhaill's bloodline was not yet at an end, however, as Muirne was discovered to be with child. Tadg, demonstrating his love for his daughter, expressed complete and utter disgust at this occurrence, and ordered that she be burned. Thankfully for Muirne and her as of yet unborn child, Conn stepped in to overrule Tadg's decision, and had Muirne whisked away to live with Fiacal mac Conchinn. As luck would have it, Fiacal's wife, the druidess Bodhmall, was in fact Cumhaill's sister. Muirne soon gave birth to a son, who she named Deimne. Rather than raise the lad himself, Muirne instead decided to leave him in the care of Bodhmall, and left. She would later go on to marry a lesser Irish king by the name of Gleor Lámderg, and would encounter her son for the second and final time six years later, when she came to visit him in the forest. Thus, the lad was raised in the forest by Bodhmall, alongside the warrior woman Liath Luachra. Even in his boyhood, Deimne's life was filled with adventure, most of which consisted of him wandering the woods and fighting things for a living. Of particular note was the incident involving the Salmon of Wisdom, which is detailed in the Skills section. It was during this time that his hair prematurely turned a very whitish shade of blonde, leading to him being redubbed Fionn (translates to fair/blonde/white/bright). Eventually, Deimne, now Fionn mac Cumhaill, came of age. Thus, his caretakers decided he could now fend for himself, and sent him out into the world. Even more wonderful adventures followed, the most notable of which was the slaying of Áillen the Burner. Once a year, a fairy/demon/goblin would come to the Irish capital of Tara, and lull the inhabitants to sleep with his amazing harp solos (exaggeration). While the Fianna were powerless to stop him, Fionn stepped up to the figurative plate. Using the almighty powers of the Salmon of Wisdom, he discovered that Fiacha, a member of the Fianna, unwittingly possessed a magical spear (for whatever reason, it had been completely inert up to this point). When this became apparent, Fiacha gave the weapon to Fionn, which would prove to be a great help in the coming battle. Going out to meet Áillen, the creature responded by playing his harp, which began to work its magic on Fionn. However, before he could fall into slumber, ol' Finny brought the spear up to his face, and inhaled the poisonous fumes. The excruciating pain kept Fionn awake, allowing him to do battle with the Burner. Without his magical harp to protect him, Áillen proved to be only a minor threat, and was quickly slain. Following this victory, Fionn was made leader of the Fianna, much to the dismay of Goll mac Morna. In addition, he demanded compensation from Tadg for his part in Cumhaill's death, causing him to give up his ancestral home, thus fulfilling the prophecy he'd foreseen. The renown of Fionn mac Cumhaill grew ever higher, as he accomplished even greater deeds from that point onwards. He would go on to meet his future wife Sadhbh, who had been turned into a deer by Fear Doirche (evil druid god of the Tuatha Dé Danann) for denying his advances. Unfortunately, she was later transformed back into a deer, and stolen away by Fear Doirche once more. For reasons that no one can quite comprehend, she still managed to bear Fionn a son while in this state, named Oisin. Other noteworthy aspects of his tale include the life of Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, which began gloriously and ended tragically; Or perhaps his supposed death at the hands of Cairbre Lifechair's army. As for the latter, however, it is said that Fionn did not truly die, and simply sleeps alongside the Fianna, waiting to rise again in the hour of Ireland's greatest need.
Noble Phantasms: -Sgiath Gailbhinn, the Storm Shield * Rank: B * Type: Anti-Army/Barrier * Range: 1-25 * Maximum number of Targets: 17 * Prana Cost: None to summon, Low to activate the secondary effect. The Storm Shield, carved from the hazel tree upon which the severed head of Balor, king of the Fomorians, rested for 50 years. The tree was then dug up by Manannán mac Lir, and carved by Luchtaine into a shield of great power. Originally gifted to Fionn's grandfather, Tadg mac Nuadat, it was passed down to the son of Cumhaill when he came of age. While its defensive capabilities are impressive, being capable of weathering mighty impacts, that is not its true purpose. For when the shield's name is called, it emits a deafening and disorienting roar-like shockwave, capable of covering a wide radius. In fact, it is said the roar of the Storm Shield could be heard all across the Emerald Isle. -Fiacha's Spear, the bane of Áillen * Rank: B * Type: Anti-Unit * Range: 1 * Maximum number of Targets: 1 * Prana Cost: Low Originally the property of its namesake, a warrior in the Fianna, the spear was gifted to Fionn when he discovered its true nature with the power of the Salmon of Wisdom. The spear produces a magical poison, causing it to constantly emit noxious fumes, resembling smoke in appearance. The poison can afflict a target either by wounding them with the spear, or merely holding it close enough that they inhale the fumes. While the poison is non-lethal, it causes a great deal of pain, comparable to being branded with red-hot iron. In addition, due to its use in the slaying of Áillen the Burner, it becomes even more effective when used against beings with mystical origins, e.g. fairies, goblins, demons, ect. Borabu - Dórd Fiann * Rank: A * Type: Anti-Army * Range: - * Maximum number of Targets: 9 * Prana Cost: High The legendary horn of the Fianna, used to call them to battle in times of great need. When the horn is blown, nine shades of Ireland's mightiest defenders are summoned as pseudo-Heroic Spirits to aid him in battle. While the spirits lack the true strength they had in life, this is compensated by the numerical advantage they will almost always possess against an opposing Servant.
