[@thewizardguy] markus looks up, his hand placed on one of the mandibles of the guardians, stopping the house-sized creature in it's tracks before turning to it and saying "please... i do not wish to hurt you...", his tone more sad than angry at their approach before he gave it's head a gentle pat, saying a quiet "do not fret, i will leave this place, i can see i'm not wanted, and i do not wish to spark more destruction than has already been wrought" before letting go of it's mandibles as a lightning strike takes place, markus disappearing and rapidly ascending into the clouds to come face to face with the being that was attempting to wrestle control of the storms from nothing, markus having never unnaturally made a storm or squall since he'd begun his journies. He stares down the god of storms for this place, saying an even "you don't look well, old man" as the god would, indeed, look horribly aged and weakened, his lack of worshipers and subservience to someone not of godhood leaving him weakened over time, but that being said, his experience and status as god still left him at least a match for Markus, or mayhaps even be stronger in his current state, the rather tall monkey-man sitting down on a cloud, obviously intent on coming up for a chat rather than a fight. "What has happened here to cause such perversions of natural order?" Markus asks the elderly, beleaguered god with rage evident in his voice, not at the god himself, but at those that would warrant such needless destruction.
