Before the Lieutenant finishes pondering her thoughts, a member of the criminal group appears from an upper floor window and fires several rounds at the police line, peppering the officers behind. A few rounds land by the S.W.A.T. team and manage to strike the Lieutenant in the back of her shoulder and her head. Lt. Mason falls to the ground behind the cruiser and it can be seen that the first shell was not blocked by Kevlar and penetrated the shoulder, while the other had come at the luckiest angle, gliding off the top of her helmet and striking the pavement. However, the shells still shocked the Lieutenant and she now lied unconscious, bleeding onto the road. Sgt. Kimmins would have to recover and stabilize Lt. Mason before anything else happened. Meanwhile, since Lt. Mason is unable to command the squad, the next highest ranking officer shall lead the operation. In this case, Sergeant Wayland Hayle will have to be the man for the job, while lugging around a sturdy yet enigmatically large block of metal, let us hope he is up to par.
