Sargent Kirimin was still in the back of the van, checking his medical bags for the fourth time when the gunshots first ring out. The shaggy man peers out of the van, then leaps and rolls out of the back. He dashes over, ducking to keep the cruisers between himself and the firing line. Once at the Lieutenant's side, he can see that they are not in any danger here. Still, he grabs her feet and drags her along the ground to behind the van. Laying her out on the pavement, he opens the bag he had dragged with him, first administering some pain drugs before going for her armor and clothing, focusing on mainly cutting away her shoulder covering and removing her helmet. Gingerly as ever, of course, in case she had damage to her spine. Then he attempts to stop the bleeding from her shoulder, pressing several bandages to the wound after liberally applying disinfectant.
