Yin had listened to the announcement, the same as the rest of the students had. It was a simple pleasantry on the headmasters part of course, but a good one to say the least. As the screen presented the first two duelists after the headmaster finished speaking Yin couldn't help but crack a smile. She had been chosen to go first. A fitting place for one such as herself. Yin had slowly stood up and began walking down to the arena. Her opponent's picture had been less than intimidating. The girl looked dull, and quite frankly barely interesting. In other words, she looked as if she would have been one of Yin's parents lesser paid servants who begged for a job. Though Yin did have to admit that the girl had nice hair, but that was about it from the photo. Finally after that bit of walking and thinking though, Yin had made it to the field a smile on her face from the excitement for this match, for this day, and for the future soon to come. Michelle listened to the announcement and learned that she would be one of the first Duelists for this placement duel. As the pictures for the Duelists came up, Michelle focused on the one that would be her opponent. Quite honestly, Michelle didn't particularly care what her opponent looked like. All she wanted to know was how much of a challenge she would pose. Making sure her Duel Disk was firmly in place, Michelle made her way to her position on the arena, examining her opponent as she went. If Michelle was reading her opponent's expression correctly, although she looked friendly, it seemed as though she didn't have that high of an opinion of her. In that case, Michelle wouldn't waste too much time on this Duel. "Hey there. It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Yin Yuen. Let's have some fun with this, okay?" Yin said still smiling and offering her hand out for a shake. If there had been anything she'd picked up on from her parents it was definitely how to behave, and especially when it came to first impressions. "Likewise," Michelle said, returning the handshake, but not the smile. Once that was done, Michelle made her way to her end of the arena, where she awaited the announcement to begin. Yin kept giving a friendly smile as she backed up without turning around lifting her arm up as her Duel Disk activated as she waited patiently for the Duel's start as well as looking around at the audience to try and find some faces that might become familiar over time to her. Soon the announcement was given, and Michelle activated her Duel Disk, the blade quickly forming on her device. Michelle then drew 5 cards at once from her deck, fanned them out with one hand, then placed the cards in her other hand, all in one fluid motion. Turn 1: Michelle Michelle: 4000 LP / 5 cards Yin: 4000 LP / 5 cards "I activate the Spell card: 'Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen'!" Michelle began, a giant hall rising out of the ground behind her. "If I control no monsters, I can Special Summon a Fairy-type monster from my hand. I Summon 'Harvest Angel of Wisdom'!" A humanoid being clad in orange armor and holding a horn in its left hand suddenly appeared on the field. Harvest Angel of Wisdom - Level 4, ATK 1800 "I then Set one monster, and place a card face-down. Turn End," Michelle ended. Turn 2: Yin Michelle: 4000 LP / 1 card / 2 monsters, 2 Spell/Traps Yin: 4000 LP / 6 cards Yin giggled softly as she scanned the five cards she'd drawn all at once then swiftly drew her next card. Looking at it out of the corner of her eye Yin and then placed it in her hand as she grabbed another card. "First off I'll place one card face down, and then I'll set one monster card. Back to you!" Yin played her cards so elegantly, and then she put her hand out and pointed at Michelle with two fingers to joke around. Turn 3: Michelle Michelle: 4000 LP / 2 cards / 2 monsters, 2 Spell/Traps Yin: 4000 LP / 4 cards / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Traps Ignoring Yin, Michelle drew her next card and examined it. Nothing that would really help her right now, but perhaps in the near future it might. "I activate a Spell card: 'Calling of the Sky'." Michelle declared. "This card allows me to add 1 "Parshath" or "Nova Summoner" card from my Deck to my hand, and I choose 'Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin'." The card ejected itself from Michelle's deck, which she grabbed and revealed for a second before continuing, "My face-down 'Gellenduo' can be treated as 2 Tributes for a LIGHT Fairy-type monster, so I tribute it to Summon my 'Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin'." The face-down monster was revealed to be a pair of small creatures, one green and one pink, both disappearing to be replaced with an angel-like being that radiated a heavenly aura. Neo-Parshath, the Sky Paladin - Level 7, ATK 2300 "Battle Phase! 'Neo-Parshath', attack her face-down monster!" The angel complied, rising up into the air, then shot itself downward towards the face-down monster, its blade pointed directly at its target. Yin smirked as her face-down monster was destroyed, and then revealed itself to be 'Masked Dragon' for a short couple of seconds before disappearing. "You activate my 'Masked Dragon's' ability by destroying it and sending it to the Grave. I get to Special Summon any Dragon with 1500 ATK or less from my Deck, and I'll choose my 'Twin-Headed Behemoth' in Defense mode." Twin-Headed Behemoth - Level 3, DEF 1200 "Be that as it may, when 'Neo-Parshath' attacks a Defense mode monster, it can deal piercing battle damage," Michelle explained. Yin - 4000 LP --> 2800 LP "On top of that, when 'Neo-Parshath' deals battle damage, I can draw 1 card from my Deck," Michelle continued, drawing another card. "Moving on. 'Harvest Angel of Wisdom', attack 'Twin-Headed Behemoth'," Michelle commanded, the orange-clad angel blowing into its horn and sending powerful sound waves directly at the two headed dragon. Yin keep smirking even as her 'Twin-Headed Behemoth' shattered into hundreds of pieces of holographic glass. Michelle, unfazed by Yin's lack of dismay or any similar emotion, ended, "I place one card face-down and end my turn." Turn 4: Yin Michelle: 4000 LP / 1 card / 2 monsters, 3 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 5 cards / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Trap Yin giggled as 'Twin-Headed Behemoth' returned during the end phase. "If you'd please give a warm welcome to 'Behemoth' once more, we'll continue this show. And to do so I'll first draw." Drawing her card dramatically and gracefully Yin quickly placed the card in her hand and grabbed a different card to play. "First off I'll play the Spell card 'Mind Control' to take that wonderful 'Harvest Angel of Wisdom' you got there." Michelle glared at Yin as 'Harvest Angel of Wisdom' was taken. It was unfortunate that she didn't have anything to deal with that, but it was only natural that everything wouldn't go her way. All she could do.for now was wait for whatever that was coming to appear and get resolve it. "Next, now that you've so graciously donated your monster to my cause, I think I'll play this fancy little card known as 'Creature Swap'. This means I pick a monster from my field to give to you, and you choose one on your side to give to me. Oh and don't worry I'll be giving you back your monster so you can give me the better one, seeing as you have no choice in the matter." Yin giggled pleasantly at the fun little combo wondering what was going through Michelle's mind. The girl was so depressingly on task. No fun what so ever, but she had talent, and that was one thing that Yin could respect. Michelle's glare only hardened as the two monsters swapped places. To think that such a combo could have been made. Michelle's face made Yin giggle slightly more. "Oh wait, there's more grumpy gills! Next I'll sacrifice my 'Behemoth' so I can Summon another fun card in my hand known as 'Armed Dragon LV5'!" As Yin played the card she lifted her arm, and thus hand, into the air dramatically as the large metal and spiked dragon appeared in a dramatic roar. "Now then, let the show begin first by attacking your Angel with your old monster who so graciously switched to my side." "I activate a Trap card: 'Negate Attack'!" Michelle countered, the card rising up and creating a vortex that absorbed the attack. "It negates the attack and ends the Battle Phase." Yin giggled once more. "Not bad Michelle. I'm glad you aren't going to just roll over like a good little puppy, that would be boring. In that case, I'll set one card face down and end my turn." Turn 5: Michelle Michelle: 4000 LP / 2 cards / 1 monster, 2 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 1 cards / 2 monster, 2 Spell/Traps Michelle drew her next card while saying the customary, "Draw." Upon examining it, Michelle determined the best course of action for it. "I play the Field Spell: 'Sanctuary in the Sky'," Michelle said, the area around them transforming into a floor of cloud and a clear blue sky above, with a white temple behind Michelle. "Now I play 'Calling of the Sky', allowing me to add the Tuner monster: 'Squire Parshath' from my Deck to my hand, which I then Summon," Michelle continued, adding the ejected card to her hand before placing it on the field. Squire Parshath - Level 1, ATK 100 "I activate 'Squire Parshath's' effect! I can target any LIGHT Fairy-type monster on my side of the field besides itself and change the targeted monster's Level to anywhere between 1 and 7," Michelle explained. "I choose my 'Harvest Angel of Wisdom' and change its Level to 7." Harvest Angel of Wisdom - Level 4 --> Level 7 "Now I Tune my Level 7 'Harvest Angel of Wisdom' with my Level 1 'Squire Parshath'!" Michelle declared, the two monster's transforming into 7 stars and 1 green ring, respectively. "Appear, 'Avenging Knight Parshath'!" Michelle said, a brilliantly shining angel appearing on the field, its light dwarfing even 'Neo-Parshath's' aura. Avenging Knight Parshath - Level 8, ATK 2600 As the angel slowly descended, Michelle declared, "I activate 'Avenging Knight Parshath's' effect! Once per turn, I can change the Battle position of one of your monster's, and I choose your 'Armed Dragon'. Lower your head!" 'Avenging Knight Parshath' emitted a strong, bright white aura, and the dragon lowered itself. Armed Draon LV5 - ATK 2400 --> DEF 1700 Standing firm and confident Yin stood unwavering. One might just pass it off as just pure excitement for the duel, or perhaps one might think more of her confidence? "Battle Phase! 'Avenging Knight Parshath', attack 'Armed Dragon LV5'!" Michelle commanded, the angel raising its blade to strike down the cowering dragon. Yin smiled as she put her hand out as her Trap activated. "I think my lovely 'Interdimensional Matter Transporter' would disagree seeing as how it takes my dragon out of play until the End Phase, meaning your attack won't hit him," Yin said confidently as her dragon started to phase out. Michelle, unfazed by the attack missing, continued, "In that case, strike down 'Neo-Parshath'!" 'Avenging Knight Parshath' then swung its blade to the side in an attempt to destroy 'Neo-Parshath'. Yin watched without a worry in the world as the monster she'd stolen from Michelle was destroyed, and thanks to Michelle's own field spell, Yin would take no damage. "Unfortunately, because of 'Sanctuary in the Sky's' effect, you take no damage, but that's only a slight inconvenience. Turn end," Michelle said. Turn 6: Yin Michelle: 4000 LP / 0 card / 1 monsters, 2 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 2 cards / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Trap Yin drew her next card with resolve and giggled yet again once she drew it. "Today isn't your lucky day. I think I'll play a card you've already been introduced to start off this turn, 'Creature Swap'! And since my 'Armed Dragon' returned at the end of your turn, and since you only have one card to offer, I think you know what happens next." The smirk on Yin's face was unquestionably mockery. "That lousy trick won't work twice," Michelle said. "Reveal, Trap card: 'Divine Punishment'!" A bolt of red lightning suddenly emerged from the cloud underneath the Spell card, completely incinerating it. "If you activate a Spell, Trap, or Monster effect while 'Sanctuary in the Sky' is out, it is negated and destroyed." Yin frowned. "Well you're no fun...I suppose thise means I'll have to switch my Dragon back into attack position, and then I'll play Swords of Revealing Light from my hand." Yin then muttered under her breath. "As distasteful as it is..." Then speaking up once more. "Your move." Clearly irritated that she had to do that. Turn 7: Michelle Michelle: 4000 LP / 1 card / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 0 cards / 1 monster, 2 Spell/Traps "Draw," Michelle said as she drew her next card. It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't the best. "Lucky for you, I didn't get anything useful for now. Turn end." Michelle didn't like doing nothing, but until 'Swords of Revealing Light' wore off, she couldn't do much. Turn 8: Yin Michelle: 4000 LP / 1 card / 1 monsters, 1 Spell/Trap Yin: 2800 LP / 1 cards / 1 monster, 2 Spell/Trap "Such a pity." Yin responded in a clearly less than sympathetic voice."I'll draw," Yin paused for the moment to draw and then frowned. "I too shall end my turn though..." The words were so sour in her mouth it saddened her. Turn 9: Michelle Michelle: 4000 LP / 2 card / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 1 cards / 1 monster, 2 Spell/Traps Michelle drew her next card. Again, nothing all that useful, but perhaps it may prove to be useful eventually. "Not much here. Turn end," Michelle stated. Turn 10: Yin Michelle: 4000 LP / 2 cards / 1 monsters, 1 Spell/Trap Yin: 2800 LP / 2 cards / 1 monster, 2 Spell/Trap Silently drawing her card Yin held her breath slightly. She too seemed to be having the same problem as Michelle. "For now I'll place one card face down. Next I'll summon my 'Armed Dragon LV3' to the field in attack mode. That's it for me..." Turn 11: Michelle Michelle: 4000 LP / 3 cards / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Trap Yin: 2800 LP / 0 cards / 2 monsters, 3 Spell/Traps Michelle drew her next card, and found it to be rather nice. It wouldn't help remove the 'Swords', unfortunately, but it had its uses. "I Summon 'Freya, Spirit of Victory' in Attack Position," Michelle said, the silver-haired cheerleader rising out of the ground with a leap and landing perfectly on her feet. Freya, Spirit of Victory - Level 1, ATK 100 "'Freya's' effect allows all Fairy-type monsters on my side of the field to increase their ATK and DEF by 400," Michelle explained. Avenging Knight Parshath - ATK 2600 --> ATK 3000 Freya, Spirit of Victory - ATK 100 --> ATK 500 "Now I play one card face-down and end my turn. You better have gotten something ready by now, because I sure have," Michelle said confidently as the 'Swords' faded away. Turn 12: Yin Michelle: 4000 LP / 1 card / 2 monsters, 2 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 1 card / 1 monster, 2 Spell/Traps Yin glared at Michelle. "Careful what you wish for." Yin drew her card. "First off, during my Standby Phase, my LV3's effect activates, but I'm going to chain a one of my face-downs to that first." As she spoke one of her face-downs rose to reveal 'Curse of Anubis'. "This puts all effect monsters in face-up defense position, and to top it all off they all have zero defense for the turn." "I told you I was prepared," Michelle said. "I activate 'Dark Bribe'. This negates the activation and effect of a Spell or Trap card and destroys it, but you get to draw a new card." Yin drew her next card as the 'LV3' vanished, only to be replaced with a second 'LV5'. Looking at her new card, Yin couldn't help but crack a small smile. "Well it looks like I have to thank you now...First of all I'm going to sacrifice both of my Armed Dragons to Summon my 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon'!" The mighty Black Dragon rose up roaring, loud and proud. "Before you go and think that I would go and disappoint you by summoning just this, I promise I won't. Next I'll tribute my 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' so I can summon my 'Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon'!" Yin's arm rose up dramatically once more as the mighty Darkness Dragon replaced the original Red-Eyes roaring even more triumphently, enough so that the entire tower shook as it's ability kicked in. Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon - ATK 2400 --> 4200 ATK Michelle was certainly not expecting something like this to appear, and couldn't help but show an expression of fear for a moment before attempting to calm down and observe the facts. Michelle could certainly withstand the attack, especially with 'Sanctuary in the Sky' still in play. Unfortunately, she'd lose 'Avenging Knight Parshath'. All Michelle could do for now was try to weather this out. Yin's arm fell in front of her pointing at the 'Avenging Knight'. "Now, 'Darkness Dragon', let her cower in fear of your awesome power!" The large gemmed black dracon built up a ball of flaming energy in its mouth before launching the stored power at the 'Avenging Knight Parshath'. Michelle shielded herself from the blast with her arm as 'Avenging Knight Parshath' was destroyed. "Because of 'Sanctuary in the Sky', I take zero damage," Michelle said after the attack ended. "That's fine, I suppose I'll end my turn and see what you can pull out of your hat then." Yin giggled with excitement once more. At this point she really didn't care who won. They had both done so well that there was no doubt in her mind that they would both be placed well in the academy. Not to mention they had set the bar for the other Freshmen to get over. Turn 13: Michelle Michelle: 4000 LP / 2 cards / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Trap Yin: 2800 LP / 0 cards / 1 monsters, 1 Spell/Traps Drawing her next card, Michelle began to plan out her next move. As she did, Michelle realised something: this was challenging. It was exactly what she had been looking for. Someone who could force her into a corner for her to break free from. Allowing herself a small smile before returning her game face, Michelle then said, "I place one card face-down, then switch 'Freya' to Defense Position and end my turn." Turn 14: Yin Michelle: 4000 LP / 1 card / 1 monster, 2 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 1 card / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Traps Yin raised an eyebrow in curiousity as she drew her card. She wondered what could Michelle possibly be thinking. Of course there was no way to fully tell, but given the situation there were only a few true options to take. Yin still hadn't used her first face-down. Was that affecting how Michelle was playing? What did she think it might be? On top of that, what should Yin do about this whole situation? Well, that part was actually the obvious one. "First I'll play a Spell known as 'Stamping Destruction'. This will allow me to destroy your 'Sanctuary in the Sky', and to top it off, you lose 500 Life Points!" Michelle was unfazed as the field broke down, the temple collapsing and the clouds dispersing, eventually returning the area around them to the Duel Arena. "Hmmmm. Nope. The picture isn't quite right just yet." Yin spun around once with excitement and more dramatics stopping when she was again facing her opponent and was end with a hand pointing towards Michelle's 'Freya'. "Now, 'Darkness Dragon'. Destroy 'Freya'!" Once more, the mighty dragon built up its flame, and once more fired the blast towards Michelle's monster, completely destroying it. "And that will take us back to you." Yin said cheerfully giving Michelle a playful wink Turn 15: Michelle Michelle: 3500 LP / 2 cards / 0 monsters, 1 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 0 cards / 1 monsters, 1 Spell/Traps Michelle drew her next card and examined it. Perhaps it would help for now. "Using the effect of 'Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen', I Special Summon 'Bountiful Artemis' in Defense Position!" Michelle declared, the white angel folding its wings in front of itself like a shield. Bountiful Artemis - Level 4, DEF 1700 "Turn End," Michelle said. Turn 16: Yin Michelle: 3500 LP / 1 card / 1 monster, 2 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 1 card / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Traps "First I draw once more." Yin drew her card casually and then sighed. "It's not the strongest monster, but it'll do for now. First I'll Summon my Element Dragon to the field!" The smaller, more colored dragon appeared screeching a bit. Element Dragon - ATK - 1500 "Next my Red-Eyes Darkness will have to send that pesky little defense of yours to the grave!" Yin once more pointed dramatically at Michelle's monster, and once more her Dragon sent a destructive blast towards the Michelle's creature. "Trap card: 'Negate Attack'!" Michelle countered, the vortex being formed once more. "This negates the attack and ends the Battle Phase. Plus, when a Counter Trap card is activated, 'Bountiful Artemis' lets me draw a card when that Counter Trap resolves." Michelle explained Yin raised a finger and let it swing from side to side. "I hate to break it to you, but you're still going to lose that lovely creature of yours." "'Trap Jammer' is also a Counter Trap, though, so I can still draw 1 card," Michelle said, drawing a new card from her Deck while the vortex suddenly shattered. "Maybe so, but that lovely creature of yours is now gone." Yin smirked as the creature was shattered. "And now 'Element Dragon' take a bite out of her Life Points!" The small dragon sent a wave of fire towards Michelle. Michelle shielded herself with her arm as the flames washed over her, depleting her Life Points. Michelle - LP 3500 --> LP 2000 "And now back to you!" Yin spoke with such enthusiasm. Turn 17: Michelle Michelle: 2000 LP / 3 cards / 0 monsters, 1 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 0 cards / 2 monsters, 0 Spell/Traps Michelle drew her next card, then examined it with the rest of her hand. So far, it wasn't looking all that well, but perhaps there was something that could be done. "I use 'Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen' to Special Summon 'Hecatrice' in Defense Position!" Michelle declared, the golden statue appearing on the field. Hecatrice - Level 4, DEF 1100 "Next I Set one monster, and end my turn," Michelle ended. With luck, she might even be able to turn this around. Turn 18: Yin Michelle: 2000 LP / 1 card / 2 monster, 1 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 1 card / 2 monsters, 0 Spell/Traps Yin once more drew her card so casually it might've been a bit insulting. After doing so she couldn't help but chuckle a little. "This just isn't your day Michelle. First of all, I'll play the Spell card known as 'Stamping Destruction'. If you recall I get to choose on spell or trap on your field as long as I have a Dragon-type monster, plus you lose 500 life points, and I think I'll go with 'Valhalla'!" Michelle was unfazed as the hall behind her was destroyed, getting torn apart by the dragons. Michelle wasn't too bothered by it; she didn't have much use left for it, anyway. Michelle - LP 2000 --> LP 1500 "Now let's see here. I think we'll have my 'Red-Eyes Darkness' destroy your face-down monster!" As the fireball struck the face-down card, a brief image of an orange wreath appeared before being blown away by the force of the attack. "That was my 'Nova Summoner', and you triggered its effect. When it's destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon a LIGHT Fairy-type monster from my deck with 1500 or less ATK. I Summon another 'Nova Summoner' in Defense Position!" Michelle explained, a second orange wreath taking the place of the first. Nova Summoner - Level 4, DEF 800 "Next I'll use my 'Element Dragon' to destroy your 'Hecatrice'." Once more the smaller dragon emitted flames, this time towards the 'Hecatrice' causing it to shatter. "And that should about round up my turn." Turn 19: Michelle Michelle: 1500 LP / 1 card / 1 monster, 0 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 0 card / 2 monsters, 0 Spell/Traps Michelle paused for a second before drawing her next card. If she didn't pull something out now, she wouldn't survive the next turn. Drawing her next card, she took a moment to examine it. Unfortunately, it was not a card to make a comeback with. "I Set one monster in Defense Position, and end my turn," Michelle said. Turn 20: Yin Michelle: 1500 LP / 1 card / 2 monsters, 1 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 1 card / 2 monsters, 0 Spell/Traps Yin started by drawing her card. "So Michelle. It's been fun, but I'm afraid that we'll have to wrap this up soon. First I'll have my 'Element Dragon' attack your 'Nova Summoner'!" The wave of flames once more shot forth to incinerate the 'Nova Summoner'. The golden wreath was destroyed once more, and an angelic man with 4 golden wings took its place. "I Special Summon 'Shining Angel' in Defense Position," Michelle said. Shining Angel - Level 4, DEF 800 "Pfft," Yin made the short noise. "Fine, if you want stall more, I'll just set this last card in my hand face-down and end my turn..." The last card in her hand appeared on the field. Turn 21: Michelle Michelle: 1500 LP / 2 card / 2 monsters, 0 Spell/Traps Yin: 2800 LP / 0 card / 2 monsters, 1 Spell/Traps Drawing her next card, Michelle couldn't help but think about her past moves. She was getting sloppy, and that wasn't like her. Was the stress clouding her judgement? She closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself down. Michelle opened her eyes, a firm resolve appearing in them once more, then looked at her next card. She couldn't believe her luck. "I Summon 'Squire Parshath' in Attack Position!" Michelle declared confidently, the small armored man with long blonde hair appearing on the field. Squire Parshath - Level 1, ATK 100 "By using 'Squire Parshath's' effect, I change the Level of my 'Shining Angel' to 7," Michelle said. Shining Angel - Level 4 --> Level 7 "Now I Tune my Level 7 'Shining Angel' with my Level 1 'Squire Parshath'!" Michelle declared, the two monsters transforming into 7 stars and 1 green ring, respectively. "Rise up, 'Soaring Knight Parshath'!" The angel looked smaller than 'Avenging Knight', but still glowed with a brilliant white aura. Soaring Knight Parshath - Level 8, ATK 2300 "Battle Phase! 'Soaring Knight Parshath', attack her 'Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon'!" Michelle commanded, the angel shooting upward into the air to swoop back down towards the dragon. "Once per turn, when 'Soaring Knight Parshath' attacks an opponent's monster, I can switch the ATK values between the two attacking monsters until the end of the turn!" 'Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon' glowed with a white aura for a second before it faded away. Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon - ATK 4200 --> ATK 2300 Soaring Knight Parshath - ATK 2300 --> ATK 4200 Yin had made a motion almost activating her Trap card, but then it occurred to her how this whole thing was going and just smiled and lowered her arm and watched as her mighty dragon was destroyed. Yin - LP 2800 --> LP 900 After the attack ended, Michelle said, "When 'Soaring Knight Parshath' deals battle damage to my opponent, I can draw one card." After drawing her next card, Michelle simply said, "Turn End." Turn 21: Yin Michelle: 1500 LP / 1 card / 2 monsters, 1 Spell/Traps Yin: 900 LP / 1 card / 1 monster, 1 Spell/Traps Yin smiled contently drawing her last card looking at it and then laughed a bit before placing the card back on top of her deck along with her palm resting on the deck. "Well it looks like I have to give this one to you Michelle. You were an excellent opponent. I surrender." While people in Japan had changed how they surrendered Yin and the people of China had stuck to the traditional method, and by doing so Yin was showing Michelle respect. Michelle showed a slight expression of surprise, then sighed. "Well, that was certainly a challenging Duel," Michelle said, smiling. As the monsters faded out of existence, Michelle walked over to Yin and extended a hand for a handshake. "I hope we have more challenges like that in the future," Michelle said. "Definitely!" Yin laughed slightly. "Who knows, maybe we'll get a chance to do this again sometime?" Yin pondered cheerfully before raising Michelle's hand, declaring her the victor.

Michelle wins after a long and hard-fought battle.
